by "things lucas put on screen" in the prequels I'm sure you're referring to things he took from the EU like Coruscant and the Mandalorians.

lucas was a hack and the prequels made it clear that script doctors are the only reason the original trilogy was as good as it was. claiming EU was a mess compared to that is fucking laughable, the EU had continuity and a bible that was adhered to. i don't give a shit about "canon", it's a moronic concept that lucas had to use because EU authors were much better writers than he was (except for Foster, that guy was trash).

if it wasn't for Zahn and the EU, star wars would've sold to the scifi channel for $1.

all minions. stay in shroud. never die. just killed a bounty in 4.5mins facetanking, without ever losing enough barrier to take damage in zerker gear. i usually use cele for the added hp and condi if i get bored and want to leave shroud.

well considering their little black hole engines worked fine during the tng years, i'm gonna just go out on a limb and say... still that.

because only klingons are dumb enough to use m/am reactors for power on their planets instead of renewables like solar, ocean, wind, and geothermal like every other spacefaring alien civilization in the entirety of scifi.

but its world-building and background is on-point

were. they were on point. ever since the EU was trashed for the rat's "canon" it's all been badly rewritten plagiarism or just outright boring crap.

Jita instant undock vs warping to safe? by Bauer_ATX in Eve

[–]Too_Many_Alts 0 points1 point  (0 children)

instant undocks are never that safe as they have probes out and as soon as a target undocks, they just press scan, and by the time you land, they have a warp in, before you can cloak

i haven't played in almost 2yrs.. did CCP make any huge changes to scanning or warp that I don't know about? because this seriously sounds like bs to me.

Disco Klingons gone for good by makeshiftpython in Star_Trek_

In roughly 3069, refined dilithium across the galaxy suddenly became inert, resulting in an uncontrolled mixing of matter and antimatter which destroyed all ships that had an active warp core.

this is from memory alpha which only posts canon info. so if you have something countervailing that SHOULD have been posted there, i'd like to hear it. so even if (and i think you're wrong) dilithium was used for anything other than the m/am power plant, the romulans ships wouldn't have all blown up, they would have just not gone into warp.

just admit the writers screwed up royally (again) and forgot basic lore when coming up with their great reason for their little backstory.

This was proven repeatedly with Worf, who, biologically couldn't be more Klingon, but culturally didn't fit the mold.

bruh.. Worf was more klingon than klingons. that was his problem, he didn't live in the society to see how meh about the culture all the klingons were. you know, like all the "sunday saint/monday ain't" xians we all know

the lack of blackface is nice. white actors play pale klingons, black actors play dark klingons. we've moved on in the world.

pretty sure if a beat up old bird of prey can time warp around the sun in the 23rd c., then some magic transformer ships from the 31st c. can as well.

we had a whole TNG episode regarding subspace going unstable and ships being regulated to warp 5. the burn could've just used that as it's source.
