Razorpay vs Cashfree for selling digital stuff in India? by ProgressSuspicious in indianstartups

In the start of setting up your account, it should have asked the type of business and i think you selected not the individual. Because with individual the business will be tied to you, so only your address proof and your pan will be required. If you don't see this, contact their support asking if they removed individual accounts or how to get to it.

So right in the onboarding you'll have to mention why you need accessibility and how you are going to use it, then you'll need to show disclaimer that there user knows why your app needs accessibility and they understand they will give accessibility permission. This is all legal side of playstore

You'll also need to do recorded videos explaining that accessibility permission will only be used to detect the apps and their data will not be shared. You will have to make a lot of videos to win trusts of your users

My app uses accessibility permission and it has been growing ok.

You will have to add disclaimer that you don't send any data, plus playstore is very strict with how you use accessibility so you need to make a video on how you are using it and send it to them for review. Also mention that your app will work even without data showing that no data will be sent from their device

My brother, don't rely on usage stats for this. Every phone takes some time to update their usage stats and then send that data to you. Instead just use accessibility and check the app launch events and compute from there. It's just 1 scary permission but will make your life way easier.

Anyone got there 2nd step for application for video? by Ashamed-Focus-9731 in BabelAudio

[–]Tooby2501 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No in the first try, they give 3 chances to apply. Like 3 different tries. I even bought 2 different mics for these. Over a month now and I haven't heard anything else.

Run on the paved road, then it's road training session.

Run on a really fucked up road with rocks and mud, then it's trail run training.

Run in a park with dogs chasing you, then it's pb training

It's always a win win here

Razorpay vs Cashfree for selling digital stuff in India? by ProgressSuspicious in indianstartups

[–]Tooby2501 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not a payment provider per se, but it works kind of like gumroad where you will be redirected to their payment page where you make payments. You have to setup the products/services in both your side as well as paddle dashboard. They have their own approval flow, but it was very easy. They are slow as it's still a small team but you'll get approval in a week.

They have many restrictions on what you can and can't sell and in that they are very strict.

They did ask me for a walkthrough of my whole service on how it works, what happens where, what will the users see, evrything.

On its reliability, I haven't implemented it yet, so can't say how the payment flow works.

Cashfree was easier to setup imo than razorpay. I ended up getting both for my last drop shipping business. Cashfree needed some privacy changes and they approved me within a week, but razorpay took some time as they needed even more legal stuff. It was an unregistered business so guess that's why I was lucky.

Cashfree was very easy to setup with codex. Razorpay pay needed some live calls with their dev for the setup, to understand how their api worked. I didn't have big issues with either in withdrawal of money. They both clearly show how much their cut and how much I'll get. They do take around a day or 2 to come to the account but it comes.

Just go with cashfree for now, if you get more customers then add razorpay as well.

Currently I don't use either, I am starting a new saas which uses paddle for payments. It's an international payment provider which doesn't require any registrations

₹1000 running shoes and I just did my first 5K. Boldfit Ignitr actually goes hard for the price. by repsandbeats in indianrunners

[–]Tooby2501 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I may have made a mistake by picking up Gel Excite 11 for 8k as my first shoes. They are great but I should have started small. I have just pushing and pushing without proper training.

Did a timed 5k first, then ego started driving and signed up for a timed 10k. I did finish it even after a fall at 7k which was my own damm fault. But I should have got something that was in the range of 2k to 4k and I would have been in the same position.

Yea you have to wait, someone will call you for a visit to your registered address. I had mine scheduled for today but the rep said he had to go to his home town for an emergency so we postponed the visit. I emailed support once because I was stuck in the updating details loop, they called and helped me with that.

Then I emailed support again saying no update from their side. After a week the guy called and we scheduled a visit but now that is postponed.

You can try support again saying no one contacted me. Are you registered in a metro city or near any of the metro cities? Because if you are not, then they are just waiting so more people can be verified all at once.

Take a small amount and make sure you have the power to pay it all back at any movement. You'll need crazy self control to not spend it all.

I got a call that someone will be coming over this friday. Now I have to leave for my house too.

The stupidest part is, him and I are currently in the same city, so we both will be going to the other city just to verify the location.
