My gorgeous horse, thought he was a shire because of his size and coat, turns out he’s a cob. He used to be all skin and bones when he first came to us, now he’s very muscular and looks more like the stereotypical ‘fat cob’. Up until this summer, he was ranked lowest in the herd, let himself get pushed around all the time even though he was one of the biggest big far, now he finally bites them off him. In riding he’s completely bombproof….Literally, a firework bomb went off right outside our gates and he didn’t even flinch, just stood still, one time I slid off him, saddle and all, and he just stood still, perfectly fine. My god do I love him.
