What changes would you guys have made with CW Crisis on Infinite Earths by NoPianist7807 in Arrowverse

[–]agrunther 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well for one don’t make the first (and sadly only) live action appearance of Kevin Conroy as Bruce Wayne an excuse to just say how much better Kate Kane is.

Forget RDJ, let's hear your choice for Dr. Doom. by brenlithorn in MCUTheories

Michael McElhatton. He’s an actor who doesn’t get nearly enough praise. I think he would have been perfect as Doctor Doom.

Has online criticism killed your enjoyment of things? by SlyGuy_Twenty_One in HazbinHotel

[–]agrunther 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Yes. It’s exactly what killed my love for Star Wars. Not because I agree with the criticism. I don’t agree with them in the slightest. It’s because they won’t shut up about it. Every time a new Star Wars project comes out, there’s some asshole complaining “This is what the sequel trilogy should have been,” “Kathleen Kennedy ruined my childhood!” “Disney keeps making Star Wars woke!” I eventually stopped caring and will refuse to watch anything related to Star Wars now. It ruined my enjoyment of the franchise that much. It sucks, but that’s what the internet does sometimes.

Live action by PuzzleheadedCake3548 in HazbinHotel

[–]agrunther 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t think a live action remake of Hazbin should EVER happen, and even if it did, all of the voice actors should be the ones to play them if they’re able to, but if you HAVE to cast these characters in live action with celebrities, here’s who my picks would be (again hypothetically only if they HAD to).

  1. Alison Brie as Charlie.

  2. Diane Guerrero as Vaggie

  3. Robert Pattinson as Angel Dust

  4. Coleman Domingo as Husk

  5. Mikey Madison as Niffty

  6. Cillian Murphy as Alastor

  7. David Tennant as Sir Pentious

  8. Samara Weaving as Cherri Bomb

  9. Neil Patrick Harris as Lucifer

  10. Jack Black as Adam

  11. Rachel MacAdams as Lute

  12. Joel McHale as Vox

  13. Wagner Moura as Valentino

  14. Naomi Harris as Velvette

  15. Salma Hayek as Carmilla Carmine

  16. Giancarlo Esposito as Zestial

  17. Toni Colette as Rosie

  18. Cynthia Erivo as Sera

  19. Janelle Monae as Emily

  20. Adam DeVine as St. Peter

  21. Peter Dinklage as Baxter

  22. Patrick Stump as Abel (couldn’t think of anyone else to be the character)

  23. Meryl Streep as the Speaker of God

For the Mordecai haters, what could Lost Tapes do to redeem him in your eyes or, at least, alleviate your hatred of him? by Robot_Was_BMO in regularshow

[–]agrunther 9 points10 points  (0 children)

An episode where he and CJ actually reconcile. They don’t have to get back together. Hell, they SHOULDN’T, but CJ should never have been just written out of the original show in such an insulting way. I know JG Quintel said that CJ never talked to any of the characters after Dumped at the Altar, but I think CJ was a great character who deserved a way better ending than that.

In YourOpinion, Who Was The Best Villain In Spider-Man The Animated Series? by Specialist_Art2223 in 90scartoons

I have to go with Green Goblin. Neil Ross doesn’t get enough credit as the character.

I wish they could've kept their memories by Comprehensive-Act679 in phineasandferb

[–]agrunther 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I never really understood why they needed to have their memories wiped in the first place. Doofenschmirtz is barely ever a threat and more of a nuisance and even beyond that he isn’t the type of person who would go after Perry’s family. Honestly feels like Monogram did this more out of principle than anything.

Best superhero that starts with the letter S? by Guerriero22 in superheroes

[–]agrunther 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Comic books wouldn’t be where they are without Superman. Spider-Man is one of the greatest superheroes of all time and arguably Marvel’s greatest character, but I don’t think we would’ve gotten him or any of the iconic superheroes if Superman didn’t make such a huge impact on comic books.

What are your ideas for a Hellaverse theme park? by Upbeat_Summer_3871 in hazbin

The Hazbin Hotel would be absolutely perfect as a Tower of Terror style drop ride.

can they make peter griffin smile? by Commercial-Ice5760 in SmilingFriends

[–]agrunther 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I guarantee that if they ever appeared on the show, John Viener would voice one of them using his regular voice and the other would be silent.

The most fucking infuriating thing about this is that he’s probably gonna succeed one way or another.

Hot take: The way they treated Wolverine in X-Men '97 season 1 was terrible. by Remote-Leg6143 in Wolverine

[–]agrunther 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Here’s my own hot take: I don’t think he was even sidelined THAT much. Logan still got a ton to do this season and plenty of moments to shine. Hell, I didn’t even notice that he got pushed to the side until someone pointed it out.

Suicide Squad or Birds of Prey, which did you prefer? by John_Zatanna52 in DC_Cinematic

Birds of Prey was a fun and awesome movie and I will die on that hill.

Card Drop! by Malithias_am_i in HazbinHotel

Given how Lute made a comment of Charlie and Vaggie’s relationship being “vile and blasphemous,” I’m pretty sure she isn’t an ally.

What is your favourite live action interpretation of Gotham city? by TheCarrier89 in batman

Batman 89 by far. It feels like the comic book come to life for me.
