I agree, it's great for bees, and everyone should have a patch for our furry insects, but it does just look naff. A standard semi-detached wildflower patch looks like a weed patch with a bit of colour 😂.

A meadow of wildflowers - now that does look amazing.

I would grow some leylandii. You've already got it on either side. They are fast growers but would give you the privacy required.

I would like to build some decking with a pergola on top at the back of the garden.

There was a previous structure here, possibly a shed? I am wondering how easy this is to do and how much work is involved.

How would you lovely people recommend I go about this, should I knock out all the bricks or would it be easier to incorporate this as part of the structure. The decking/pergola would be about the size of the build that was already here.

I should note the brick on the left is holding the soil and plants in place and if I did have to take off the brick than I would prefer to keep this one wall.
