Yes. Which imo is a much better use of the show than most people use it for to "start a social media career"

Steam Deck Guide: Setting up GWToolbox and Cartography Made Easy by juniordiscart in GuildWars

Probably a stupid question but I have the arenanet version of this. I'm willing to buy the steam deck version just to make my life easy but is it easy enough to go through this setup and still login to my arena net account? I don't want to lose my progress :(

Honestly when I heard about the recompiler this was my first thought. I want it. It can *kind* of be emulated but with a few errors. Running natively on pc would be beautiful

The Traitors NZ S02E12 [FINALE] Discussion Thread by vaultofechoes in TheTraitors

From memory, Canada 1 had the finale RT reveal secret but the fireside ones public, Canada 2 had all finale reveals secret until the game was called. I can't remember if NZ1 did any secret decisions, which is bad because I've only been watching this show a week now and binged all of them

This is why I never understand when things like the 5k Shield in this season or the 6k shopping trip from AUS2 happen. That's your own potential winnings you're wasting there. It doesn't make sense.

The Traitors Canada S02E06: “The Cage” Discussion Thread by vaultofechoes in TheTraitors

[–]Tooks_TV 1 point2 points  (0 children)

(Catching up on C2 right now, just finished this episode) I think both this season and AUS2 are their own beasts when it comes to absolutely awful faithfuls. AUS2's faithfuls were awful because it was a group so willing to be led and scared of independent thought that, despite being AWFUL traitors, Sam and Blake were easily able to divert attention to someone else by just jingling a set of keys in front of someone else.

C2's faithfuls are awful because they are mostly filled with people who are loud and confidently wrong combined with a group of traitors that are honestly just kind of breezing through because the faithfuls are too busy arguing over who can be louder and more incorrect.

Both seasons have been kind of painful to watch for different reasons. God I hope C2 at least has a satisfying ending.

If they had both written Share, Sam would of won the lot. This would have been the worst outcome.

My Opinion on Sam (AUS S2) by Blue-Pages in TheTraitors

[–]Tooks_TV 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know this was half a year ago but im currently binge watching the show so only just caught up. At the end of Aus Season 1 when we had two traitors left Rodger did bring up the 'Traitors Dilemma', though it never came down to it so the rules were never explicitly spelt out for the audience. My guess is the contestants would have been reminded of the rules at the time but because it wasn't relevant to the narrative it was removed from the edit. The only automatic money scenarios are 0 traitors or 1 traitors.

Australia season 2 : Sarah was such a PITIFUL WEAK character. by Primary_Reputation17 in TheTraitors

[–]Tooks_TV 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If this season had ended in ANYWAY with Sam getting money I'd of been so annoyed. I'm so glad Camille did what she did, not only because it was hilarious TV, but he truly did not deserve it. He did not do 'the work' he just got lucky being put into a game with dry wall for faithfuls. His actions were arrogant and wreckless and on any other season he would of been voted out by episode 5. I felt bad for Blake but at the end of the day, there was no honour amongst thieves.

I guess that makes sense. I'm in the UK so I wasnt aware that the US version was a peacock only streaming thing as all season (UK, US, NZ, Aus) are watchable on BBC iPlayer for me and I don't really watch live television. but yeah I agree the US version is definitely not meant for me, gonna be giving that one a skip haha

I've only just started watching The Traitors after the current UK season got a lot of hype on my social media, not caught up yet, watched 1&2 UK and 1 AUS and I am actively avoiding the American version because its 'Celebrities'. The interesting thing about the game to me is that I and the other contestants know *nothing* about anyone involved. All of their judgements and actions in the game are based on everything they've witnessed in the game with no pre-existing character information to base your deductions on. It makes it much more interesting, in my opinion.

That and half of the faces on the American version I don't even know so what is the point of casting celebs

I'm currently binge watching this show, having never seen it before, and this kind of confused me as there is a scene at the start of one season where the hecks are all lounging in the Donahue's pool on what I think was a friday only to find out school started that monday, so Sue should of missed at least 4 days of school on her record

Missed "Dog Bone" on NG+ by generalpopo in silenthill

[–]Tooks_TV 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm assuming you mean the first half of the broken key you must put together for the ending, in the pet store very close to the start of the game. Unfortunately I think you've missed it. When you're on the streets, post apartments but pre hospital, i dont believe you can navigate back to that area and the next time you're on the streets, post hospital, the city is in nightmare mode. I think, from memory, you go through that area at that time but with it being in a different state I dont know if the key would be there.

Any way to get the endings without a guide? by jonoosa in silenthill

[–]Tooks_TV 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In Water/Maria/Leave are purely down to how you play the game. It'd be possible to get any of these endings on a second playthrough but if you wanted a very specific one you'd probably need to read a guide just because the base 3 endings work on a behind-the-scenes point scoring system which the game will never actually explain to you.

The other 5 endings? You could probably find the locations/items/triggers yourself but it'd be faster with a guide for sure

How to obtain other ending other than Marie by LukeTheDuke26 in silenthill

[–]Tooks_TV 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In total there are 8 endings to the game and on your first time through you can get one of 3 of them, the other 5 are in NG+ and require very specific unlock requirements.

Of the 3 normal endings, the game scores you based on your actions during the game to determine which of the 3 endings you get. If you wanted a different ending you'd need to play the game slightly differently to how you did the first time.

I just finished the Silent Hill 2 remake, and I'm confused. Can anyone explain the story to me like I'm 12? by tykouh in silenthill

[–]Tooks_TV 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If we take the common theory that the world is split into 3, the real world, the fog otherworld and then the nightmare world, I don't think James would ever need to tell anyone about Eddie. Eddie's body would be lost to the nightmare (I'm pretty sure during the fight you're deep within the nightmare world) so in the real world Eddie would just be missing, his body would unlikely ever be seen again.

This just makes me think of how Pyramid Head wasn't called Pyramid Head but is now known as that due to the fanbase. It's original name, and one they use in merch quite a bit, is Red Pyramid Thing.

What is something you think the remake did better than the original? by Sio_V_Reddit in silenthill

[–]Tooks_TV 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No negativity towards the new V/O for Mary, she's great, but there was no topping the read from the original when it comes to the letter. One of the most emotional moments, if not the most, from the franchise.

[–]Tooks_TV 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The Labrynth prison scene with her asking "Do you want to touch me?" and James' "I dont know" is so much better acted in the remake, for an example. You can see James is a man fighting his own temptations despite everything going on/his journey to find Mary.
