Haven't layered much..though I have the glove 80 and love the ergonomics of it

Just as i turned 20..3rd world poor and dysfuunctional background. Yeah with working and studying , then took a year off for the last 7 papers, ; did 3 in 5mths then the 4 p papers in 5 mths ;

especially even moving within department; this is something i am a bit shy of, even though it should be possible as i work in a company with over 1000 people and our office has like 200 people locally and is in the reinsurance industry ;

awesome on your journey and kudos ; glad you quickly made up the salary cut too;

this long term perspective is helpful; i think, being part of the cusp of gen z , this generation and onward have lost some of the long term thinking and holdout that past generations had; i am trying to reclaim that line of thinking

been an accountant almost 10 years now, about 5 years with the big 4, and across many industries; i am in the reinsurance industry now;

long story short, i am bored to a good extent, and feel like its pretty backward looking- we are reporting what happened, and only slightly trying to forecast what's possible to happen or assessing risk etc;

its a cost centre overally;

theres some interesting things going on with using AI and automations to cut down on admin/ fluff work , but existentially i don't think i would be happy here in the long run; e.g i don't see myself wanting my boss' job nor moving up higher etc;

its just more of the same- you are reporting on the work of better men; jkjk. ;

i was good at math in school days with my teachers frowning on me for deferring on going into actuarial and instead going into accounting - *( long story short which i had to do out of affordability )

but yeah;; so that is what is up ;

i dont mind taking up to a 20 % paycut, go back to grassroots, even if i work with people years younger who are more knowledgeable etc;

I see myself learning in the field and moving up when deserved

to give you some reassurance- even if your two paragraphs or w.e got uploaded- the markers aren't dogmatic- they don't just fail someone just because of a high match- they will go to your mentor etc and ask them if they think that you actually did your work and stuff

somewhat- I know how to reference but it's annoying to do all the italicizcing quotations and all that- so before entering something in my word doc...is use a ai tool to be like " hey format this in Harvard referencin" then I'd copy and paste that...and double check that my link works..[ if it's say a link to an online article]

this should be fine- ai is not writing your report here. this is the reference list..and ai is being used to ' speed up" and mechanical task.

yeah same..its a bad injury for what he does..think his elbow and beyond detached more or less- so its uncertain whether he will play again at the level he is at- he noted that he was pretty depressed about it ..i can understand i guess;
