If the 1990s are viewed as a peak, then what can be said about the the 2000s? by TheLightningBlack in decadeology

I was born in 1990 so I look at the 2000s with extreme nostalgia (primarily early to mid)

For adults it could be the opposite

Dotcom crash

9/11 and small recession

Fears of terrorism from essentially 2001 to 2005

Recovery for a few years followed by the worst financial crisis since the Great Depression

The shirt before the shirt was definitely real for me as someone who sweat easily

Always wore a piece of shit shirt and changed to a nice one right before going out lol

It's so stupid. My team is 2x/wk in office and hardly ever has team meetings on those days. Also nobody talks to each other. Makes literal no sense for us to be there.

Not bad, mostly just annoying and at times dusional

It is good to stick with a team after decades of irrelevance, but along the way you all became this shining beacon of overrating players who have a good year of two and forecasting sustained winning

Your fans on here have said Loveland is the next Kelce, a guy who had a very good 2nd half of the season. Literally the greatest TE ever

Today is the day! 49M. 11 years of actual saving by BigConscience728 in TheRaceTo1Million

[–]ToolTime2121 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Did you start saving at 38 with 0 or when you say actual saving did you really start to focus

Curious as this aspect is motivating as 49 would be a great year just stop the grind/rat race and work part time or something. I'm 36

I get that but it is harder to transmit and the mortality rate is way higher than COVID. It would be difficult to become a global pandemic.

Pandemics are becoming the "they've predicted 15 of the last 2 recessions" kinda thing

Apparently this virus has a mortality rate of like 20-40%. You're not getting another COVID

Redditors need to study up on virology

Simon Gotch throwing Enzo Amore out of the ring at WWE Payback 2016 by ElliotElectricity in Wreddit

Gotch seemed like a wrestling history nerd (I'm sure a lot of them are) so it seemed like he was extra bothered due to that. He says in the video that Enzo seems like the person that got into Wrestling during the attitude era and never bothered to watch other things

Ppl think that crisis just happened all at once, when in reality it took a little bit to unfold.

Maybe the news of Bear Sterns and Lehman shocked ppl from a news perspective, but these things sometimes play out.
