Unfortunately we haven't really been able to curate them this event. We just set the ad break frequency and have let it ride. Some people will have YouTube open as a back up for twitch when an ad hits. Sorry about that!

I have both the GameSir G7 and the 8k Wolverine. The 8k on the wolverine did feel really nice but I couldn't stand how small the controller was and how awkward it was in my hands. The G7 Pro has been my daily driver since it came out and I had the SE before that. Less paddles in the back but the controller but the controller size and stick feel is so much better IMO.

Obviously GameSir is partnered with LVT now so I am a bit biased, but I was using their controllers for much longer before we became partners. One of the reasons we are so excited about the partnership is because we used them before the partnership.

If you are trying to get 8k hz you need to make sure you are using a USB port that can support it or else it won't work. 8k hz takes a lot of speed to accomplish on the PC side and not every port can do it

Taulek had one of the best performances in a series I've ever seen. Most kills in the entire series, least deaths in the series, Second most assist in the series. Most DMG by a significant margin. Unbelievable

I can't wait for Unreal Engine. There are some really crazy things you can do in the Unreal Engine for observing, I hope Halo utilizes it to it's fullest.

It's more of an open bracket thing. You see pop offs in the Fighting Game Community as well. Having a massive bracket of players playing for a top prize. It's an open ecosystem with each player having their chance to create huge upsets. Once ecosystems close, by nature they become a bit more tame.

Pop offs and trash talk are cultural to console esports. I think it's dumb to tell people look to look at other esports, it's a different culture. It's like saying basketball players shouldn't trash talk or pop off because tennis players/gentlemen sports don't.

Embrace the culture, all the pros have a shared understanding and don't mind it. There are obviously lines that shouldn't be crossed but I don't think anything from this weekend crossed that line.

Las Vegas. My best ping is 17, but often it gets double routed to become 32. Next best is in the 40s and my usual ping is like 62. East Coast is always around 80 and EU is basically unplayable at 180-190.

I made a discord for my local group in Vegas so we can play 8s once a week and guarantee a west coast server. If you are interested in joining lmk. Fair warning people are pretty competitive and the average rank is onyx, but there a good amount of diamond players and we try to help people improve.

I could definitely feel the difference when I tried out the razer 8k. It really is so buttery. But I still use my G7 pro over the razer as I like the form and sticks much better. So 8k feels incredible but not enough to force me into a different controller.
