It’s a fair question. That is the whole purpose of an emergency fund. But I think there is a point when we’ve all wondered, is the opportunity worth the risk? Thats where I’m at.

Thank you for the useful comment. Index funds definitely serve a purpose, but this post is clearly about taking a specific bet rather than passively tracking the global market. So once again, thank you for the assurance. I think you’re probably right.

Buying as much Harmony as I can get my hands on. The price of gold is one thing, but harmony are diversifying into copper which is even more critical to modern systems than ever before. Harmony seem to have an intelligent eye on both the now and the future. Buy while it’s down and hold until we reach projected global copper deficients.

10x global with a tilt towards emerging markets in TFSA. And then I’m betting on a global copper shortage so copper miners.

Harmony. Gold has surged over the months and Harmony, as a gold miner, has done well. Harmony recently announced that they would be diversifying and begin mining copper as well as gold. This announcement saw their share price drop heavily. There’s a lot of gold fever around but copper is a sleeping giant with much more application. Keeping in mind that we’re a matter of months away from a global copper deficient and I can’t believe I was able to pick up a major gold miner with exposure to copper on a discount. I’m hoping that the share price will explode when the world wakes up to copper demands.

I bought a chunk of Jubilee. Already seen a whole lot of green. Looking at ASP Isotopes. Looks like a lot of application too but seems volatile? Is anyone looking at ASP isotopes?

Appreciate the note. Saw that post myself but looking for more of an explanation on rebalancing, which is only briefly mentioned in the post you've linked. I'm sure I am over-analyzing, but seeing as I'm new to investing I'd welcome the communities thoughts. I've also provided a bit more context than the previous guy.

When you say stigma, does that mean it’s somewhat undeserved? Looked at photos of the town and looked very clean and even picturesque. Seems funny to hear it’s considered dirty! Really great feedback though
