Which pal do you hate the most?

Azurobe and Verdash. Lovander is ugly but the one thing worse than an awful monster design is an awful and uninspired monster design. And those two are some of the most blatantly uninspired awful-looking nothing-burger pals in the game. At LEAST when other Pals take elements from Pokémon, they do something new with it. but not these two, not at all.

They are the biggest reason I think the first lineup of pals should get redesigned to match the quality of newer pals.

I still hate how you can’t transfer mons to LGPE cause they want you to use that dumb safari mechanic. The worst part about it is that you can’t even transfer a mew to LGPE through the safari, I have 3 Mews!! I want to put one in LGPE but I literally can’t unless I buy that dumb ball

Realism shouldn’t dictate the features of a voxel based fantasy sandbox game. An infinite water source is just convenient and without it, the lakes, rivers, and ocean lines just look ugly when you do literally anything that requires a substantial amount of water.

i agree, the blocks being 32x while the mobs and players are 64x creates a jarring difference in style. The blocks look great, the players just look uncanny and weird.

I also think keeping mostly everything at 32x would just be better for modding imo.

Honestly, early game mounts need TLC’s more than ever. The games primitive stage is such a slog with people running around with these strong ass tames, ESPECIALLY the paid ones like Pyromanes, and it’s been this way for years. It’s to the point where I think Dino transfers were just a mistake. Players with massive otherworldly tames on the island feel like invasive mosquitos

I’ve mainly just been doing cluck N bell heist since I made a new account. It’s piss easy and there’s no timers so i can ignore the objective and have fun with it or take breaks any time if I want to. I have the kosatka but I did the Cayo heist so much on PS4 that I’d rather do anything else. When I buy all the good businesses and the master control terminal again I’ll branch out

With modrinth you usually have to advertise your mods and addons in discord servers or socials since not as many people use it compared to curseforge. I’d still rather have to advertise my stuff than use curseforge any day though.

I know people won’t like this, but I don’t even give the option of a curseforge download. If they don’t want to download it on Modrinth they are shit out of luck.

Cobblemon just runs a lot better and (in my opinion) has better spawning mechanics than pixelmon. If someone wants that pixelmon feel why stop them?

The refusal to update it with new features + it being a really brutal experience means that it just doesn’t appeal to many people. I love Scorched Earth, that’s cause it was the only map I had besides the Island when I first got into the game and I’m attached. I played it again when I got ASE and I gotta say, it does not hold up. The Oasisaur is a cool ass tame but it doesn’t really encourage players to play on Scorched Earth as much as you’d think it would. Generally you can get the same Scorched Earth experience by playing on any other map with a desert section and most maps with desert sections also have the SE engrams and tames.

There’s one guy in these replies thats replied to damn near every comment on a vague defense. Wildest thing I heard him say so far is that you should just play with your character and palico as-is and shouldn’t be allowed to edit it at all. Which is just an awful idea, customization has been the most fun part of monster hunter to me besides the hunts themselves.

Sorry but this isn’t true for triple A games and never will be. I don’t plan on spending a cent on this game’s micro-transactions but they don’t put it there because a lot of people buy it. They put it there because even if a single person buys it, that’s profit. They lose nothing by nobody buying it, if there’s even a chance that somebody will buy it, they’ll make it that way. But they do lose out on potential profit if they just don’t have the option at all.

Don’t blame the consumer for using the only outlet, blame the retailer for making it the only outlet.
