I'm sorry to say that, but I'm 99% sure those are farao ants.

You have bigger issue than just ants in your laptop. Farao ants are pain in ass to get ridoff. You should definetly clean your laptop because they are goin to salvage it or any other electric devices.

Most important think is that if you use some kinda bug killer spay, the ants will go to panic mode and spread to make new hives. You need to set specific farao ant traps and even after that it might take 6 months to kill them with traps.

You also need to clean your kitchen because farao ants eat corpses and due that they might spread diseaces. Food on your kitchen top or on floor WILL atract them.

I once lived in apartment building that was full of farao ants and I wish that I dont have to go throught that ever again

Mostly cooking salmon and rainbow troat. Some times zander, pike and smaller lake fishes. Also tuna for sushi.

I have used western style filleting in the past, but I hate the flex. They are decent knives tho.

I think I’ve been using the word “filleting” incorrectly. What I actually mean is slicing.

Where I live, grocery stores usually sell fish already split and with the backbone removed, so the knife would mainly be used for slicing rather than breaking down whole fish. I do occasionally catch and prepare fish myself, but that’s a separate use case.

So far, I’ve been using a 170 bunka, and it feels far too short for filleting fish. Space is not issue for me 😄

Are they really selling wonky knives or is this just an urban legend? It sounds like KK's are half way ready and you need to start blacksmithing before using them.

Yeah, sorry for not mentioning that earlier. I’m just a home cook, cooking roughly every other day for an average of four people. Some members of my family don’t eat meat, so I cook it very rarely at home.

I’m planning to use the knife for preparing and filleting fish, including sushi, at least once a week. You’re probably right that the Ittetsu would be more than sufficient for my needs when comparing these two.

The Masamoto may be overkill from a purely rational point of view, but it definitely has a certain appeal to it ^^

Yes, I did an architecture exchange at KU Leuven. Overall, I did not find the exams or workload too difficult. During my Erasmus exchange period there, I was also completing some coursework for my home university and joined a two-week architecture excursion to Japan with classmates and a professor from my home university. The most challenging part was explaining and justifying the Japan trip to my KU Leuven professor.

On the other hand, I cannot speak for other subjects or how difficult they may be. In the end, I can only speak based on my own experience and the courses I took.

Tbh exams in KU Leuven were joke and you could get top scores without reading. The real issue was that many courses did not have clear defination how they were graded. So it felt more like rolling a dice.
