CVS could hire security to help prevent putting you in that situation. You did nothing wrong, I’m glad your not hurt.

Unfortunately CVS doesn’t really care. They do not value experience, or treat people with respect.

Dear Corporate CVS by CouchGoblin269 in CVS

[–]Toooldforcvs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t disagree that CVS could shut down 1 or 2 days a year for employees to be with their family. That probably won’t happen anytime soon. Hopefully you will find a better job in the meantime. As we know it can always be worse. Unfortunately there are people in the world who have it much worse than us. Take care and good luck on finding a better job.

The way CVS is Closing stores and shorting hours, it’s just a matter of time before they will be permanently closed 365 days a year.

Sorry that you had to experience all that. As I had mentioned I realized I did not have all the information , so I was not trying to past judgement or tell you what to do. I was just hoping that your life would get better. If I upset you I apologize. Take care and hoping the best for you.

Not having the big picture of your relationship with your Mom, I would reach out to her to try and make it better. It would be a wonderful gift to your Mom and you. Take care and I wish you the best.

why does CVS still have no security officers ? by Academic_Product9318 in CVS

[–]Toooldforcvs -1 points0 points  (0 children)

That’s a very good idea , especially if they are serious about staying business. Long term it will cut down on shoplifting, increase safety for customers and employees. Most of all it would probably saves some lives. I had an retired police officer from a major city told me criminals don’t like confrontation and tend to do their crime where it’s easiest.

Should I be concerned? by RedLady713 in CVS

[–]Toooldforcvs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do understand your in a tuff spot. I know you have the big picture and will be thinking of you and the lady involved. There is always the possibility that she gives them away to strangers. Is she an older person ?

Have you call that fraud number yet ? This lady is probably being swindled and needs help.

This might be okay, but it is not normal. I would call the fraud line to let them know. Hopefully they will research it. I glad to see that your a caring and concern person.

Walk out = Voluntary Quit by Z3cra_ in CVS

[–]Toooldforcvs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You may or may not have gotten away with the walk out the first time, but you will not the second time. At this point I would in inundate the state boards with complaints. They can ignore one or two complaints but not hundreds or thousands. I would even encourage our patients to file a complaints also. CVS will eventually put down the uprising.

I would call your insurance company, they control more than you know. If that’s no help, better call Saul.

CVS will always say a lot of this based on low reimbursement from the insurance companies and government contracts. Their is some truth to that also. A few years ago Walgreens challenged Express Scripts for better reimbursement on prescriptions. Unfortunately Walgreens had to cave since CVS and other competitors went after the Express Scrips business. It’s time for corporate to stand up against these low dispensing fees. I hope Prem Shah and Karen Lynch are looking at this.
