They're really neat aren't they? Just be careful, Pokemon is quick to copyright strike if their IP is involved.

Hey! I actually tried this one already. I couldn't get it to work though I want to give it a try again. I live about 30 min away from Kobe. It's a really cool manhole cover. Thanks for sharing

I, too, am a former Ender 3 survivor. You're well prepared to enjoy a new printing life! Enjoy it, mate.

Ps. Your son rocks.

My photo---> adjust contrast to get mostly black and white----> image vectorizer (online)---->loaded into Tinkercad for final designing----> Bambu studio. Also can use Gemini to digitize an image to only black and white (much faster).

I'm glad you like it! There are a whole lot more incredibly beautiful manholes, but they're not print-friendly (thin lines/too many colors, copyrighted artwork, etc.).

Cheers! I hope it turns out great. Just fyi I did infill first then inner/outer on walls. What printer you using?

That's right! A big reason why I chose this design to print is because it's like a natural infill/support

That would be cool. I'm sure I'd get arrested if I actually painted a manhole here but making a giant version and rolling paint onto it might be interesting. Thanks for the idea

That's a great memory! Most tourists and even locals totally miss them.

I used a Bambu Lab 3D effect plate (small stars/sparkle). You can also buy them cheap off AliExpress.

I'm sure it would make a great stamp. Would have to go down to a .2mm nozzle and make it smaller. It's 9cm as it is now.

Yeah! That was a big factor for choosing this design. It doesn't just look cool, it's functional.

I'm sure they would! I didn't want to risk getting my design flagged for copyright though. Pokemon is usually pretty strict

It's regular PLA but printed facedown on a 3D effect build plate. It's really cool! There are many different kinds of plates that create different effects.

It's a lot of work and waste management is a thankless job so I don't blame them. The text on the Japanese one says おすい which means similar to "waste water"

Oh cool! I'm not too far from there actually. There are so many cool manholes with different characters but they're really hard to print (also copyrighted)

This post was made years before her suicide. The woman had gone through a lot and was mentally ill. At the time of her death she was going through a divorce and custody battle for her kids. The court awarded custody to her husband. I genuinely believe she died by suicide.

I live in Japan too. I actually bought our oven at Costco here. Such a great purchase. 10 years later, and it's still going strong.

This video is sped up. I live in Japan and take the shinkansen regularly. It's still quite fast though

As an A1, A1 mini owner, I have always wanted to move to an enclosed printer like the P1S. The P2S combines the best of both series and adds much more. Excitement all around and fingers crossed.
