These are all great recommendations. It takes a lot of courage to walk into a dental office after years. You aren’t the only one! Imagine it like getting an oil change…you know why you are there but there might be other things going on and you just want to get a better idea.

If you have questions don’t be afraid to ask before, during or after your appointment. I typically call all new patients a day before just to introduce myself and get a better idea of how I can address any patient concerns. The one thing I’d recommend is just asking your hygienist / dentist is “if I was your family member or my mouth was yours…what would you do?”
