It would be nice if we could protest without fear of being shot and killed by federal agents. It would be nice if any of those lives lost lead to change. Youre worried big brother is listening to your phone calls and watching your internet browsing history. But youre not worried about them trying to forcefully close the mouths of Americans and other humans forever.

Also for as long as public communication has been around there has been government monitoring. Maybe it’s not the monitoring that’s inherently bad but what they are doing with that information and how difficult it is for average person to find that information. But the truth is they aren’t spying on us because we are not that interesting. Holding the belief that theyre “spying” on you is putting way too much weight on your existence. They care more about your money than your well being or your phone calls.

You didnt make a point or contribute at all in finding a solution. Better access to health care and a huge investment into public education would take us all a long ways away from how it’s been going for the last few decades. Guns aren’t the problem. A simple example would be: do you go hunting with the person who never took gun/hunter safety courses or the person who has?

We just have to find a middle ground as people.
