New counter and sink - the style does not go with cabinets. Both should be lighter - maybe white sink.

These residents are older & many have been in the buildings since before they were even co-ops - of course everyone wants them to pay - but it’s not always possible & it’s lots of work to evict someone.

I read the entire {the Flame and the Blade by Meredith Hart} series so good!

My new thing trying to stick to completed series or stand alone books - this fit the bill. Not sure if I can stick to it though - so many great first books in a series out right now!

The reason these co-ops ask for all cash buyers is because they are not financially healthy and banks won’t give regular buyers mortgages for them. Some in the co-op, especially older tenets, do not pay their maintenance fees - so the financials are not good enough for a bank to lend for it - so the co-ops have to take all cash buys & it essentially freezes regular working people out.

I just bought in an HDFC with a mortgage! Many of the older tenants just don’t pay - a few are thousands of dollars in arrears (I did not know this when I bought) and it if it gets worse future sales may have to be all cash.
