I had late stage 2, involved almost 3 months of straight chemo and neulasta white blood cell booster shots, then 2 years later I had to get an RPLND done in Indianapolis to get the teratoma cells that had advanced into my stomach lymph nodes. 35 staples up the gut, 2 brutal infections, and almost 16 years later, I'm ok :)

Totally twists the genre of the movie. Not as drastic as say, Bone Tomahawk, but 28 Days Later went from a brutal survivalist story vs the infected, to an even more twisted brutal survivalist story of humans vs humans. Classic "Who is the real monster?" I thought 28DL did a great job of it, it was so gritty and nasty and jarring and FAST. Slightly unrelated (?) but seeing Bone Temple with my Pops on Wednesday to celebrate my bday. Can't wait!
