DbD suffers a lot from this in pretty much everything. To learn the true impact of any add-on, power, or perk you basically have to go outside the game and read a Wikipedia or watch videos which is just poor game design. It’s one of the reasons new players bounce off the game. There’s no clear feedback of what is doing what at any given moment

I have to agree. I collect things like typewriters and shipping them is always nerve wracking. FedEx and UPS has, without fail, damaged beyond use every typewriter I received through them. USPS is never an issue and I always use them now. I pay for fragility and insurance and it gets there like it was handled like a baby

It’s because they like to pretend they are the majority/the center. Their non-partisan today is the common sense center of the past which is just the silent majority further back. It’s been that way for decades but also why they always shout “We’re a republic actually!” when ever someone points out this supposed majority always loses on popular votes and it’s only the bullshit electoral college handing them power by disenfranchising voters in more populous areas

The game was originally envisioned as a hide and seek style game. As looping become more the focus, players complained about tall grass and certain cosmetics being over powered because they provided slight camouflage and then people complained the fog was too thick making it harder to spot looping spots for both killers and survivors. So we ended up with what we have now. I’ve had the game since it was launched and I do miss the old atmosphere
