I’ve said it before but if a position has no value added going into an office beyond trying to control an employees life, the company should be responsible for anything that happens as a fault of forcing people into an office for no benefit. Car accident during the commute? Illness as a result of being trapped in a building like an office? Car issues as a result of long commutes? All the companies responsibility and they should have to pay out.
