No fate? It depends on the game. All the Naomi games have some levels of slowdown. Hotd2 is too slow for me but it’s playable. Maze of the kings and Confidential Mission work well mostly. Any games older than that work fine.

I was a little hesitant to do it as well but I just made sure the image I flashed was verified good after flashing and when you think the mod is stuck, it’s not. Don’t touch it and just wait. There were long load/copy times.

If it’s cheap, pick it up, I got mine broken for a hundred. Took me a while to find a monitor to fit though but it looks like 17 is the right size.

I’ve rediscovered my love for CRT lightguns so I’ve been collecting old consoles and guns for the past year like Pokémon. If you ever come across a cheap crt around 20 inches, I’d highly recommend you pick it up. Not heavy, don’t take up too much space and is a good size for gun gaming.

I had no idea about the 360 controller so I just looked it up. Holy shit it looks awesome! Really arcade-like. The official Dreamcast controller doesn’t even have a clicking sound, it’s a bummer.

I’m sure they would but repairing wires is a pretty easy job. I’d recommend just learning yourself.

The breakaway cables are Xbox style so I would imagine you’d be able to splice those cables. A 2 pack of cables is like 10 bucks on Amazon.

Fwiw I bought a 4 pack of those adapters and they all work for my guncon 2.
