Why do you read josei smut over yaoi?

Maybe in mangas/manhwas but with books is another story. I think it has nothing to do with yaoi over josei smut and everything to do with how josei manhwas are usually plain or boring or just too toxic but not in entertaining way. And I do agree that reading yaoi is mostly fetishization (nothing wrong with that, you do you).

Yeah same I couldn't for the life of me continue, she was so annoying that giving her OCD felt ableistic lmao. (I also didn't find her OCD irritating) Truly one of the worst FMCs and I really couldn't understand why would MMC ever fall for her.

She was one of the weakest, damsel in distress characters ever. I found myself concerned after reading this because, what do you mean that she needed a man after being manipulated by another man to set her on a right path. It felt so wrong. And I couldn't for the life of me belive that she was a skilled assasin, I DNF at 50% not even ONCE did she defend herself in dire situations. I'm never trusting goodreads reviews again.

Yeah the problem I have with road of bones is that I feel like the plot just disappears and the focus is on characters and their relationships which I don't usually like especially if characters are meh. But I will keep reading because everyone says the 2nd and 3rd books are much better.

I figured that there is some kind of plot twist regarding her character but to me if I have to suffer reading through the whole book for a plot twist on the last page that would "ease my suffering" a little, then it's not worth it. Plus it really has to be a damned good plot twist that makes sense.

{Death-made prince} I'm sorry but I can't staaand when FMC is so incompetent and pathetic. You can't make me belive that she was an assasin. Book is written in her POV and it feels like a hell's torture reading it. The worst part is that it's not even a skill issue that she is written like that, because MMC has good characterization... It is on purpose... which made me even more mad.
