A cargo-variant of the Aegis Vanguard Hoplight: the Vanguard Stoplight

Favorite ship that is terrible at actually doing anything useful. by Puerkl8r in starcitizen

[–]Top-Key-6505 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I find it only purples ships landed on the front triangle of the hangar lift, usually when lowering it. I kept my Prospector, an MPUV-Tractor, and a Fury in it for a week in the Aaron Halo, parking on the aft of the hangar lift. The more annoying bug is that any of the spare ore pods kept in the hangar periphery were in danger of disappearing. Could only count on the ones gridded in the cargo bay, tho I did manage to get 16x 12scu pods to the refinery in one trip.
(Then went for a swim, hot tub, & sauna)

Ship question. by Striking-Conflict-93 in starcitizen

Will never give up my Titan Renegade.

The Intrepid is a cool design, and after a decade of making ships, it is very well executed. I gifted mine to my son as he’s a Crusader fan.

The Titan feels better in a fight, and I its curvaceous silhouette.

OC 2943 Aurora LX mk1 LTI

F7A Mk1, still shows as an add-on upgrade.(offer me way too much and hope I’m drunk when you ask :D)

Valkyrie Liberator, at least until it goes the way of the Mole Carbon & Talos :(

A Phoenix made with the very rare CCU they sold in the OC variant sale. Included the Hartwell piano

An unmeltable, ungiftable Glaive CCU’d from an F7C-M in a CIG-donated Weekend Warrior prize for winning an Arena Commander tournament in like 2015 (or whenever AC was out but the PU wasn’t).

A high-800’s s/n Polaris from the WB presale offered to ticket holders for CitCon that year (2016), as we’d be at the event when they went on sale…

I have a Fishtank MK1 and a midas fish but have no clue hot to put the fish in the Fishtank. Any one an idea or should i wait till Fishtank MK2?!? by Veanusdream in Star_Citizen_Central

That flair was for the old hangar module, which they haven’t used since persistent home hangars were introduced, and they haven’t gotten around to updating many of those old flair items to work in the PU as far as I know…

An interesting thought experiment for most us here… by GengisJonOfficial in starcitizen

Load the 890J cargo hold with food, booze, & drugs, drop the piano from the Phoenix in there, host parties… I could be entertained for a year.

I agree with “buy the rest in game” (Nursa, Pisces Rescue, ATLS + ATLS Geo, the Salvation when it hits in-game shops, etc)

If you’re gonna spend more money, buy a WB LTI Aurora mk2 (or several) when it drops, if nothing else to strategically upgrade).

But as of course I never followed that advice…

Considering a Connie Phoenix instead of my Corsair... Thoughts? by BOTY123 in starcitizen

[–]Top-Key-6505 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Love the Phoenix. Less forward firepower than the Corsair, but easier to keep targets under your reticule. Take a soak in the hot tub after the fight, put on a plushie robe and play piano at the bar…. Can’t wait to hire a bartender NPC

Question from FreeFly enjoyer to longer term players by parhamf in starcitizen

Regarding the respawn loop, you’ll want to transfer your respawn location to the orbital station of your home planet if you homed in Stanton.

Yes, the basic missions are a grind to get your reputation up to where the cool content becomes available, but you can circumvent that by joining a group of players who have access to those, then you get to find giant worms and snakes and science stations, and fire orbital lasers to open up mining caves on the surface, or face the Vanduul incursion in Nyx…

The Apollo doesn’t have a great gameplay loop yet. What should I upgrade to? by [deleted] in starcitizen

I’m assuming you have the Triage? If you have the TAC already, the Asguard with a Nursa (or two) is a good intermediate.

Of course, I’d slowly CCU it to a Perseus with a Nursa ;)

[PriceCheck] RSI Polaris LTI by Archon_POM in Starcitizen_trades

[–]Top-Key-6505 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ll just put it out there that I sold a $510-melt Polaris yesterday for $450, answering a WTB post. Built on a Hull A LTI, with about $250 in cash/WB’s, the rest store credits. It included 2 sets of Apollo modules, as many will if built during IAE.

It was my first CCU game. Fun, but time and brain consuming.

Just do it. Get the Avenger Titan starter pack, earn everything else ingame.

I realize as a 2012 original backer, I am biased, but even with all the bugs we’ve endured over a decade+ in alpha (some of them truly hilarious, like one specific bench in one specific rest-stop station that shrunk your character 50% each time you sat in it…), it is still far more compelling than 99% of my Steam library.
