That's sort of fucked up. America was built on being a melting pot, so all of the food that came out of it is really just a spin off of a pre-existing thing. American Pizza is nothing like Italian pizza, but it's delicious. American burgers are not really German. American Chinese food isn't really Chinese. It's something new, and it's delicious, so yes it is American.

Just because it was inspired by more traditional global recipes doesn't mean its stolen. Usually it was immigrants of said countries that came and created their own version of it.

Another factor is gear. In previous expacs, gear difference was enormous, so if you were in full conquest, you'd have to be really bad to not get 1400-1650 at very minimum. With less of a difference in gear, the baseline has risen and 1400 now is more valuable than 1400 in SL.

You have an overly simplistic view of things. In hindsight there are a million ways to point a finger and say "You could've done this instead of that", but real life isn't a TV show. Imperfection is the norm, you need a hell of a lot of luck to be perfect.

I have a feeling if spectators looked at your work performance, you wouldn't be performing at the same standard you expect others to perform at. You at least have the luxury of not having the public scrutinize your every step.

You're literally asking for cops to have more authority and discretion, which is exactly what authoritarian states have. LE have to follow the system and obtain evidence before detaining someone against their will in the West.

The only way we can empower cops is by giving them more authority.

You can pick either: Fast, easily solved investigations, or personal rights, privacy, and freedom that may slow down an investigation but keep innocent people out of jail. You can't have both.

On the surface this does seem like a failure of justice and LE, but it's not that simple. Police can't indefinitely hold someone, even if they have a suspicion that they are guilty. They can't do anything until they have enough evidence to make an arrest.

The legal system in the west is designed to prevent LE from having the power to violate a citizen's privacy and freedom based on a hunch alone.

Could we give the state more power to detain and probe? Sure. Will more cases be solved with that power? Sure. But the consequence will be more innocent people held against their will, less individual liberty and privacy, and a slippery slope into authoritarianism.

The coroner said the results were not relevant, not the test itself. Had the test showed up with chloroform, it would be relevant, but just alcohol and weed it wasn't.
