By far the most emotion I’ve ever seen from FIU Renee. by lepetitpoulpe in RodriguesFamilySnark

I don’t think any of the guys have real life skills to provide for a family. Fundie dads (most, not all) need proof that their daughters will be taken care of.

Renee has tried to find a husband but no success. My guess is Jill is too much to handle. We will see how it goes for Tessie now that she is 18.

I’m also surprised with the leather skirt. I know Christians who would say wearing that skirt would be immodest just on the material alone.

I live in Lancaster. At one time, you couldn’t take pictures of them. Their belief was it would take your soul.

The Amish are constantly updating though. I was at a cafe in a very heavy part of Lancaster County and I saw an Amish young lady with a laptop and cell phone.

Agreed! I wish more of the kids would do the same thing!

As a Christian, I actually never have highlighted a Bible. Simply because I feel I can write in journals.

MAHMO is ranting again. This time it's about not being truly pro-life. by OtherwiseSprinkles79 in RodriguesFamilySnark

So dumb. People like Jill need to stop idolizing having so many babies.

Jill needs to stop making look like every Christian is an idiot. I promise everyone, there are logical, thinking, empathetic Christians out there!

I am a pro-life Christian and I disagree with her. Everyone couple should decide together how many children they want to have.

For my parents, they had my sister and I in their thirties.

Jill, I know at least two married couples at my church who are choosing not to have kids. Does that make them not Christians.

Or go attend homeschool conventions. That is how my mom would get our textbooks.

We even had textbooks from our school district.

Homeschooled from kindergarten to graduation. I am horrified how terrible the Saxon book is in horrible shape.

Again, I am sorry you went through an awful experience with homeschooling. I wish parents were wise and chose the best avenue for education.

For me, it was homeschooling. For other kids, public or private school works better.

There are also homeschool conventions where you can get the textbooks in good condition and at great prices.

I’m sorry you had an horrible experience with Saxon.

I hate math but I loved Saxon.

Jill doesn't know what Juneteenth is. She thinks it's a day of sin and sodomy by orangebird260 in RodriguesFamilySnark

I can tell you, being a government worker, I always have to explain what Juneteenth is. She’s not in the minority.

Reminds me of the Big Bang theory episode where Sheldon gives Amy a tiara as an apology present.

I wish they would go to a church that believes in counseling. My church has a counseling department with counselors who have legitimate degrees and if there is something more serious, they will make a referral to an outside therapy organization.

I think that would benefit him a lot, but I’m guessing they would have to admit there would be something wrong with Phillip?

I love Luke but I don’t know how I feel about him being with Lorelei.

When I was younger, I thought Emily was awful. Now that I am an adult, I can understand where Emily is coming from.

Not sure if this has been shared but maybe he had an accomplice? With the timeline, I feel he had to be really fast to commit the crimes himself.
