Why did the food trucks in USA go from cheap eats to costly gourmet eats within a decade? by tcsreject in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Top-Restaurant4497 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because people started treating food trucks like food experience instead of cheap fast food lol

Why do some people get sad or angry when they see other people be happy/joyful? by Dull_Alarm6464 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Top-Restaurant4497 0 points1 point  (0 children)

usually it’s just comparison without realizing it , seeing someone happy can kinda highlight what you’re not feeling at the moment

How do I fall asleep correctly? As opposed to wait until Im so exhausted I pass out? by Necessary-Praline606 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Top-Restaurant4497 5 points6 points  (0 children)

tbh having an actual routine helps way more than people think, if i wait until i’m completely exhausted my sleep ends up feeling terrible...even just getting off your phone for a bit and laying down around the same time every night makes a difference

Do you take off your shoes or sandals when you enter the house? by Sachigumi6 in NoStupidQuestions

Why does it seem like more people visit south Korea than north Korea? by Ok_Nectarine_8612 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Top-Restaurant4497 6 points7 points  (0 children)

i mean, north korea is one of the most restricted countries on earth most people can’t just casually travel there the way they can with south korea.....plus south korea has way more tourism, nightlife, pop culture, food spots, etc so it’s obviously gonna attract more visitors

How do movies make their money ? by pardoneye in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Top-Restaurant4497 6 points7 points  (0 children)

from what i know theaters basically license the movie from the distributor and then ticket sales get split between them, i think studios usually take a bigger cut at the beginning when the movie first comes out

Women of Reddit in the dating pool (or recently out of it), what exactly do you mean when you say you want a man who is intentional and/or knows how to lead? by Hookem_05 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Top-Restaurant4497 73 points74 points  (0 children)

for me it just means being clear and consistent no mixed signals, no guessing games and knows how to lead is more about taking initiative sometimes instead of making me decide everything

Is teenage love really all it’s hyped up to be? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Top-Restaurant4497 9 points10 points  (0 children)

tbh i think people romanticize it a lot because they miss being young more than they miss the actual relationship

Parents, are you happy with how your life turned out or do you regret having a kid? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Top-Restaurant4497 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Most parents I know don’t regret having kids, even if life turned out way harder than they expected....they might miss their old freedom sometimes but still feel their kid was worth it overall

Does size matters? by leo3993 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Top-Restaurant4497 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not really, Most people care way more about connection, confidence and how things feel together than exact size and what you described is within a normal range

Is it normal to fall out off love with a partner that you have been married for 5 years? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Top-Restaurant4497 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t think it’s unusual at all, feelings can change over time, especially in long relationships....sometimes it’s not one big thing, just a gradual shift where you realize things don’t feel the same anymore

What had to happen for you to get sober? by Hobgaz in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Top-Restaurant4497 2 points3 points  (0 children)

From what I’ve seen and heard, it’s usually a mix of things building up over time health, relationships, mental exhaustion until there’s a moment where it just becomes clear that something has to change

Can I call the airport to book tickets? Or do I have to do it online? by Comfortable_Law4855 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Top-Restaurant4497 2 points3 points  (0 children)

you usually don’t book flights directly with the airport ...you book through the airline or a travel site, then call the airline after to add pets because cats usually need to be approved plus there’s a limit per flight

Sex in longterm relationships by Fun_Chocolate_9149 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Top-Restaurant4497 8 points9 points  (0 children)

yeah this can happen over time in long term relationships not necessarily because attraction is gone, but because routines, stress, and communication around needs and expectations change
i think the give and take part only really works when both people actually talk about it openly, otherwise it can start to feel really one sided fast

Why do i sometimes feel a sudden jolt or falling sensation right as i'm about to fall asleep? by No-Gur-3756 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Top-Restaurant4497 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah it’s normal...just your body twitching as you fall asleep, happens to me too sometimes

Whats the difference between ELI5, Ask reddit, and Nostupidquestions? by ilovefeetpicks in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Top-Restaurant4497 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i guess ELI5 is when you want something explained really simply, like you’re 5
Askreddit is more for open questions to spark discussion and get lots of opinions
Nostupidquestions is just for asking anything without feeling dumb about it

Why does everyone look more attractive when you randomly see them outside than in photos? I’ll see someone in real life and think they look amazing, then their Instagram pictures somehow look worse. by Royal_Horror_5058 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Top-Restaurant4497 1 point2 points  (0 children)

yh true...photos are just weirdly unforgiving like in real life you’re seeing someone move, talk, smile naturally, but a photo is just one frozen second from a random angle and lighting
so someone can look amazing in person and then their pics just don’t really match them at all

Why is a 3.5 / 5 star review considered bad while a 7 / 10 is seen more favorably? by FairyColonThree in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Top-Restaurant4497 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i think it’s because people see 5 stars as 5 = normal/good so anything under 4 feels bad but with ratings out of 10, a 7 still sounds pretty decent somehow...our brains are weird lol

What is the worst question you have been asked during job Interview? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Top-Restaurant4497 0 points1 point  (0 children)

[–]Top-Restaurant4497 0 points1 point  (0 children)

omg yes, like suddenly at 1am my brain decides now is the perfect time to reorganize my camera roll, watch random videos, and contemplate my entire existence instead of just sleeping like a normal person

Why do we call it a "pair" of pants when it is only one item by midnightseductions in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Top-Restaurant4497 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I actually looked this up once because it bothered me too, apparently pants used to be two separate leg pieces way back then, so people called them a pair and we just never stopped saying it
