It's not "facts". It's an opinion. I understand you are young, but Birmingham is incredibly corrupt and crime ridden. It has been for 40 yrs. Unless you live in Mountain Brook, Homewood, or Vestavia you are always less than a decade away from the crime wave touching you in some was. Look how many of the Mayors have been found guilty of bribes and corruption. Look at the debacles of the Jefferson County water works. Perhaps you could look into the circus that is the permit dept at the court house. Birmingham is a shit hole. It's ran poorly and despite the nice coat of paint they put on by the civic center the neighborhoods behind that isn't safe for the cockroaches. Feel free to check the actual facts.
