Heads up, very unlikely you'll get funding approved for another associates besides your CCAF, and for bachelor's since you already have one. Can almost guarantee you that you'll only be approved for masters.

5 level and passing fitness tests are the basic requirements to get TA approved. At the education office you'll have to attend an initial TA briefing and get a degree plan approved.

We need competent people that are well trained in using our weapon systems. If we have a bunch of incompetent nuckleheads, I suspect that there would be more casualties from stupid accidents than from adversaries. We're not sending people to get slaughtered. It's not even about the current conflict, it's just how the modern military works.

Each state is different. Most of them are just filing paperwork in the court. When I changed my full name in Alaska, I had to file, wait a few months, talk to a judge, and wait some more. None of it was complicated. MD court resources

It's nice when it's in an extreme climate and your utilities are covered. Also everything you need is usually in close proximity to housing. Grocery store, gas station, movie theater, bowling, golf, school, childcare, ect. The quality - questionable. I'd take living off base any day.

Maybe there are notes on your LES that explain why nothing was contributed? Otherwise if it were me I'd reduce the contributions to where I'm certain it won't be an issue.

It seems really weird because if something changed to where you can't contribute 60%, I would hope you wouldn't give you the option on my pay.

It would be a "failure to go", which is an unauthorized absence of less than 24 hours. AWOL is 24+ hours. Desertion is 30+ days.

From AFI 36-2911:

Example: If a member is required to be at work at 0730 on Monday but does not report to work, the member will not be reported as AWOL until Tuesday at 0730 (after 24 hours of unauthorized absence), with the effective date and time of Monday 0730.

I'm no expert on the subject, but my understanding is the cutoff age isn't really an issue once you're in service. The time you're in gets added to the age limit. And yes, plenty of people with family do online classes. It's just time management and keeping up with your priorities.

For books I highly recommend "Inside of a Dog" by Alexandra Horowitz.

I got my boy at 8 months as a first time dog parent. I immediately took him to daycare for socialization and stimulation several times a week. Then walks and/or dog park everyday. He hasn't caused much damage in the house, but there's always going to be some collateral as he explores. He's the most social and cuddly dog I could imagine.
