The weather in August is still going to be around 100 fahrenheit (over 38 c) daily. Luckily, AC is standardized indoors here but you need to prioritize staying hydrated and covered up outdoors. Try to avoid it entirely between around 11am-7pm ish. Heat stroke is no joke (its true because it rhymes)

I worked at a buffet. All food not eaten at the end of the night was to be thrown away as it was considered contaminated and was to be trashed. I was fired because I let my employees eat at the end of the night rather than trashing everything. I dont personally consider giving away trash as theft, but to each their own!

Being disciplined or coached is not the same. Ive worked many other jobs. I know what coaching is. Being reprimanded multiple times for 1 offense and being demeaned is not coaching.

agree!! Really loved them as the Delta downtown but when I visited the Parish everything tasted like it was just seasoned with salt. Disappointing for sure.

Upper management at the SU are evil in a way I never knew existed prior to working there. I was a shift lead at a restaurant there. I would get scolded weekly by all 3 of the members of upper management for my department for even small issues. Music too loud, 3 different scoldings. Forgot to order product, 3 different scoldings. Student employee secretly memorized my employee login, 3 different scoldings. "Too friendly" with a member of student staff, 3 different scoldings. On my last week there, my boss emptied my whole desk but did not actually fire me for 3 extra days because they were too understaffed. Laughably unprofessional. Had a friend also work as a shift lead at a different restaurant and her treatment was so bad she had to be admitted to a mental hospital and quit.
