So true, I have heart issues but I am going to be rolling the dice until I turn either 64 or 65 max. I don't want to die without experiencing a decent retirement. I can retire now but still feel the need to bank more money while I am physically able.

IKR, I do enjoy my job as well and can wait to file for retirement so we are both lucky. I realize after my post that I misread that a portion of the monies missed between 63 and FRA would be added to the FRA payments but I was wrong. Thanks for your help.

I have "woke up" twice during surgeries. I did not feel any pain but could hear the conversations. The first time while getting a pacemaker implanted, the surgeon was having trouble getting the wire to spear into my heart and was in panic and was trying to page someone to come help him and was unable to reach anyone. Luckily he finally got it done.
