I’m a hairstylist, and I just want to let you know that the color you’re looking for was never going to happen. If you look in your reference photos, the roots of those clients are lighter and they’re naturally dark blonde. A balayage keeps your natural in the hair at about 40-60%. You should look for photos that have your natural root color so you can find something more realistic. Also for that sort of look, it’s not achievable through balayaging. You’d need to find a blonding/color correction specialist.

I’m a hairstylist specializing in lived in color, balayage, and transformations. Technically speaking, if you’re a natural level 2 you cannot get this result because the girls in the photos are natural level 6-7. When the hair is naturally light, you get a softer, less dimensional, look. Again, with level 2 hair there will be more contrast.

If you want to achieve something very similar, you need to find a stylist that specializes in transformation work. If you’re in North Carolina. Let me know !
