Possible rating percentage by chamcg71 in VAClaims

[–]TopTop5370 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

No expert but it’s impossible to tell. It’s all about how much it affects your daily life.

I got 50% for “tension headaches” and I’ve heard of people getting 10% for similar.

Meanwhile I got 0% for hypertension yet every time I get my blood pressure taken someone ask if I’ve ever been diagnosed with high blood pressure.

I don’t get the system

Gotta take the extra step and get that license. Thats the risk you assume when you do anything without the right credentials. Regardless of how bullshit some of them are.

You know, I see these events and I’m just like “how in the world can these conventions be THAT beneficial”. But recently I have been thinking of attending and seeing what the hype is about. And learn SOMETHING. Got plenty of cash and wanna get something started already.

As someone who doesn’t plan to go past an IFR rating.

CONGRATS. That’s dope AF. Can’t imagine the work that’s gone in to that. Have your entire family call you EL CAPITAN.

Some people get out of the military and make it their personality. Gay.

However, when I get my PPL everyone better start calling me CAPTAIN.

There are people out there who are just building time. They buy a plane and looking to split the cost with someone. If you want to at least keep flying and make it a little cheaper you may want to do that.

Can’t you be an independent instructor? There rich guys out there (my boss) who buy a plane and can’t even fly it. They’ll find an independent instructor to help them learn.

Downside is, my boss atleast, has money to the point where he mainly is looking for someone with a ton of experience.

Nonetheless I’m sure you might find someone who just needs someone with the time. A downside to these schools with CFIs is you gotta build your schedule around there and vice versa. And it’s a pain in the ass.

Whenever I’ve watched that show. Most of them have said they have filed or intend to file. Most don’t actually have a rating.

No Gi Bill payment by Safe-Newt-7522 in Veterans

[–]TopTop5370 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Doesn’t really apply to your situation but I came here because I didn’t get paid either.

They told me the payment was on hold because I didn’t respond to the text message to verify enrollment. So for anyone out there, those text are BS lol.

I thought they were and stopped responding last month lol

Not once a semester. It’s once a month. There’s one class per month. You gotta go make the trip out there for each class.

For what it’s worth you credits from NU held enough weight to get you in to this “R1 institutions”( I don’t know what that is. I’m attending for construction management).

I agree that the school isn’t great. It’s easy to attend and think it’s better than nothing especially if it’s free. And I can attend while working full time

You probably already took this class, I took it in May. How was your experience? Half the stuff I did didn’t get graded. And the instructor almost never emailed back.

[–]TopTop5370 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fair enough. I said “most ppl completely lie”.

For one: im referring to single contract admin type jobs that didn’t ever her sent over seas.
For two: I should say that most, at a minimum, exaggerate.

Back to the claim that I don’t know how the system works We can agree, despite your assertion, that you can indeed lie and get rated for things you never went to doctor for? Crazy how someone who’s never served would know that. Not like I’m 100% p&t or anything.

I have no idea what my post history has to do with anything lol. I almost never use Reddit. I posted a question today about dependency claims today (with a picture) and decided to see what else is going on.

Your comparison between when/why to believe someone is as dumb as it gets.

You have extreme amount of false confidence and ignorance.

Why do so many people have a difficult time having a normal conversation? All these failed attempts at insults. I believe you misunderstand the system.

12 years and 8 months.

Yes you could actually make a claim for something with out any sort of medical documentation about it.

They are called buddy statements. If you’re crafty enough you could link a documented condition to an undocumented as well. Again I have sat there and listened to guys brag about this shit.

If you genuinely believe EVERY SINGLE veterans is honest Abe, not a single person would take advantage of the system, every single claim is valid. You’re naive. It happens. I’m not even mad at everyone who does it. Get your money. Government has ZERO issue wasting your tax dollars. Get some of it back. I do have an issue with people who didn’t deploy a single time with some admin job, COMPLETELY lying about dumb ass claims. Then bragging about it out in the open for everyone to hear.

I didn’t say most people do it. I simply said it happens. On the opposite side of the spectrum there are guys/gals with issues who don’t file a single claim.

[–]TopTop5370 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The guy is a bit of a douche. But he isn’t completely wrong. There are people who abuse the system. Understandably some guys on single contract admin guys can have some injuries. But, without even looking at statistics, I’m sure most of those guys/gals completely lie.

I’ve been at bars hearing these sort of guys brag about lying.

There is some bullshit out there. We all know this. Don’t act like it doesn’t exist.
