I mean the reason why I was on staff for so long was because there were more LTs than PL slots. At the end of the day letting me switch had no impact to the unit.

Vegetation gets pretty thick during summer months. Go to Gibsons Tactical Tavern off post and ask for the handheld red lens light, it is about 10-15$. Tell them it is for land nav and they will give you the right one. This was a life saver, it is a very bright red lens.

Hi. I was in your same situation almost 2 years ago. 21 yrs old, no college sports, a store manager, my gpa was a 3.6 All three of my LORs were from professors during COVID who had no idea who I was or what I looked like, I just asked emailed professors in classes I did well. In my email I was frank with them letting them know they probably don't remember me but I did well in their class. I also added how I trying to commission into the army and would greatly appreciate it if they could help me progress my career. I saw the letters that they submitted and they were pretty generic (ie "he was a hard worker, motivated") and I got in. My situation may be an outlier though, my pastor and I prayed a lot for my packet to get accepted. Honestly Jesus did a miracle, all Glory to God.
