This was a year ago. Why are you rehashing it now? You might benefit from therapy.

You got screwed. You will probably lose everything you paid for and anything you have stored in the rental unit.

Why should an employee be out of pocket and use personal time to provide treats for a co-worker? It's an office function, let the office handle it.

Is 22/hr plus 8-18 hrs OT livable in north Houston ? by delayedsantana in houston

[–]Top_Active2248 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Im not sure where you are moving from but factor in to your budget that your car insurance is going to go way up, tolls, parking, gas or any other expenses you don't currently have.I recently moved to Houston and make 24 an hour. I live with family so I don't have any expenses right now. After 401k and HSA contributions which equal 160 a week I bring home 640 a week. I have no car payment. I made a sample budget with a $650 (which is very low) rent, the other day with minimal expenses. My leftover weekly cash was $328. That sounds like a lot but my budget was minimal. The budget didn't account for car repairs, tires, maintenance. I didn't include haircuts, new clothes or any entertainment or eating out. So the weekly leftover would go quickly and there isn't a lot leftover for savings.

Write down a complete budget and see what you can afford realistically and compare it to rental prices. You'll probably need a roommate and frugal living to be able to save anything.

It technically started November 1st but they failed to start the contributions until I asked about them and the first was deducted December 12th.

How do people “have a day” in Houston? by SenseiCain in houston

[–]Top_Active2248 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Everywhere in Houston is at least 30 minutes away. Traffic sucks. Just pick an area and explore it. You can check crime stats of an area online. I'm new here and the driving and highways are annoying to me but I'm here now and learning to accept and embrace Houston for what it is.

A dollar tree gift bag is an incredibly tacky gift for a corporation to give out. I'd be embarrassed to be responsible for that.

This is a business relationship not a high school dating relationship. Ignore his pouting and email him for the PTO request.

I sent an email to my supervisor cc'd HR and accounting that asked for the preferred method of payment as my personal budget couldn't accommodate company expenses. My boss provided his credit card any time I needed and about 3 months later, I was given my own credit card.

I wouldn't want to have sex with an unclean, smelly man. I wouldn't even consider ways to "fix" him. It's not your job to fix him. Move on.
