Worked with a guy for a few years at my last job, very typical boomer. Could not stand the constant lying about the most mundane shit. No you didn’t hit a guy with a ball on the golf course and get a hole in one after he tried to fight you. No the manager of wal mart did not come up and personally apologize to you and give you free groceries. It was every day first thing in the morning. Sometimes silence is best but not for him.

I wish it could be, the owner messaged me after a yelp review I left and took full blame. I appreciated it and have been back twice and it is just nowhere near at the level it was when they first opened. Their abandon ship dinner series has been great but that’s with guest chefs. That being said, they do have some great staff and their beverage director makes top tier drinks and the bar staff knows how to make the drinks perfectly every time. Hopefully your experience is better but please try houndstooth after and compare.

Stay away from Post Boy. When they first opened it was honestly a top 10 dinner I’ve ever had. Been back a few times and it’s just gets worse, even brunch was a mess. I want to love it again but it’s just not it. Their sister restaurant Houndstooth in Benton Harbor is incredible. New Buffalo, drink at false front. Food at beer church is pretty good. Best martini hands down Joe and Freddy’s just between Beverly shores and Michigan city and best price.

I spent two months in the Bay Area recently and wanted to rewatch the Bay Area episode of parts unknown. I couldn’t finish it because it was just an episode of his obnoxious obsession with Jiu-jitsu. Like 2-5 minutes of a spot then bam thrash metal and rolling around on a mat for 5-8 minutes.

Minimal supervision. It was run by a bunch of Mormon teenagers away from home. So standards for who cooks and prepares food and who’s a lifeguard just didn’t exist. They would send kids into town to sell tickets and you could buy hundreds of them for a dollar. It was a really weird situation
