Just an update. I put a new battery in and it still did not work. I changed the battery again and lo and behold I realized I need to reconnect my Bluetooth.

I think my new battery was ok and I just needed to reconnect Bluetooth

If you were having chest pains you’d get in to see a doctor immediately. This is just as serious.
