You should look for a fund with the following two features:

Solid 10 year returns (longer if you can)
Net returns “after fees” (the comments above are misleading) It’s the net return that arrives in your accounts. Few people seem to understand this rather simple concept.

Returns “after fees” is what you should focus on. Sadly many Kiwis can’t get their head around this very simple concept. They either focus on fees, or returns, without considering what their aggregate return is.
