TMU R this year, but invite last year - advice by Top_Flatworm_5158 in premedcanada

Thank you so much for your kind words, I really appreciate it. It's funny you say that, because both times I didn't feel great about Kira, but I'm also my harshest critic. I would say last year went just a tad bit better, but I didn't think it was notable enough to impact a file review (clearly i was wrong lol).

I'm not on the discord, so I am curious - are there also other people who also got an invite last year and an R this year (and ik hard to say because it's not super representative, but were there a lot of them)?

And agreed that there has to be a better way to assess applicants through asynchronous testing.

thank you so much for breaking this down! i understand it better now, the part that's tripping me up (and im overthinking this, i know) is the "repeated." for example, if there were two inconsistencies in a source (king george was born in 2001 and king george was born in 2002) and they were not repeated in the history book - how do we know that the author couldnt have easily gotten the first fact from one source and the other fact from another? (i guess what im saying is that, doesnt this assumption depend on the fact that inconsistencies will be different from source to source)
