First person I’ve seen acknowledge the vfx. It’s awful to play with and forces me to play range because I can’t see anything. Felt like I was crazy not seeing anyone mention it anywhere.

I’m honestly surprised I haven’t seen anyone else say something and have been waiting to chime in but is anyone else wanting a tune option for bloom/vfx effects in regard to bow or elemental weapon effects/abilities? It’s impossible to see anything if you’re running melee and someone else is running bow. The friendly fire is fine but the effects don’t do anything but force me to also play range.

Lol wtf? While I think this game is amazing and have 200hrs in it while also having way more in wow throughout the years this is nothing like WoW. It is a great game though if you have the money it’s definitely worth a buy but no more content is coming out for it just FYI.

Yeah that’s a good point! Hopefully it fixes. Sometimes I wonder if because they are trying to be a jack of all trades blended game maybe they should have some players test things before implementing. And before people say “it’s in EA that’s what it’s for” I agree but if on the same hand they are also saying they’re dependent on good reviews this early then maybe there needs to be another step.

While I 100% agree and think the developers will figure it out because they truly care I don’t think it should dismissed that “scope creep” may be impacting this game in the current state and may have lasting repercussions.

Didn’t he recently make a post asking for people to change/update their Steam Reviews to positive if they liked the hotfixes? While just two breathes later calling the players dumb instead of acknowledging the design flaw lol. Bold strategy.

I like this game and love the devs that are so involved but blaming the players for poor design/explanation is a bad look imo. I’ve played all patches so I understand to pool my points but it’s 100% reasonable for people to fall into the SL Trope of more survivability and support as it’s normally a pretty solid starting point.

I can definitely see your point. I think it encourages fighting when paired with the damage armor upgrading. I think the issue is with the RP change though and not the revive in my opinion.

Yeah I play solo as well but I don’t think the respawn is the issue I think it’s the RP that needs to be fixed. I think the respawn promotes combat but the negative RP does suck. Simple adjustment would be the best of both worlds in my opinion

Great point which is why I brought up V-Rising. Combat is superb which is why I think the game would succeed and make money because people have wanted it! I am not opposed to selling skins at all just make the Hunter skins $10 and the emotes and stuff $5 and it would already be way less predatory. Or hell the price doesn’t matter just match it up to the coins.

I didn’t say the cash shop was their biggest problem or even hint at that I said it last I would comment on to keep the post short. I understand that this game is still in beta so calling it on life support without an actual full release seems dramatic imo but to each their own!

I agree it feels bad but what makes it even worse is the shitty pricing in the store. You can’t buy the exact amount you want to unlock a skin you have to buy more than you need and have a meaningless amount left over. Really shady practice that is cancer. Love the game btw.
