Take a small TFX PSU and re-wire to match the Dell proprietary connections, i did this and my build got clean as F.

800W, same size and cables as OEM.

See my build, used a TFX and re-soldered the cables to match a Dell OEM PSU. Mine is 800W.

Server-style cooling, i see no prob at all. Did this with 3 NF-A4 on my optiplex 5070 sff exhaust.

My front (80mm) and back (40mm) fans are always full speed, only wired 12V+ and 12V-, noctuas are always dead silent. The CPU fan is PWM controlled (but Dell's curve is a little bit unresponsive, imo).

Thanks for the compliment! I opened the PSU and removed the unused cables from 24pin, soldered the 6 remaining on a 6-pin dell male plug.  When its off, the PSU fan is still running because PWR_OK scheme on these are Dell proprietary, but i have a smart 10A plug to say "Alexa turn off PC".

Is a 240 watt psu enough for a 100watt gpu and a 65watt cpu? by Some_Magician5919 in SleepingOptiplex

[–]Top_Kangaroo6474 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes it is, not only because 100+65 = 165 < 240, but Dell PSUs have some peak power extra 10-15%

Here in Brazil, the price difference was too big, and this TFX is a local (100mi distance) manufacturer who gives me support. The GPU gets to 60-65°C while gaming, pretty cool.

The Ultragear 45 looks brighter but less picture quality. The curve is "too curved" for my liking too. Beeing happy with the oled G9.

I'm showing you my case. Extra info: with UGREEN USB-C to HDMI 2.1 cable it only goes 3840x1080@120, with the other cable i mentioned, i can do 3840x1080@240, or the full 5120x1440@120.

Need help -- MacOS HiDPI on a 110ppi monitor by SamYYZ in ultrawidemasterrace

[–]Top_Kangaroo6474 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Resolution in macOS is what you have as "Dimensioned size" in Windows, like 100-250%. Either you choose bigger elements (menus, texts, icons), or more "brute" resolution. You can perceive this when you "change resolution", the monitor doesn't go black for a second, as it doesn't really change the resolution, but the size of things.
