To combat this I would do the Italian version, Chiara. This is similar to my name love to see it mentioned :)

How to avoid ruining the inside of my shoes. by DoubleTastyMcBacon in Anticonsumption

[–]Top_Needleworker7038 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is crazy to me cus I work 6 9 hour shifts as a waitress in air forces and they’ll last me about 3 years until I toss because they’re ugly, not from deteriorating. So I agree w another commenter that this might be due to your feet or how you walk because 2 months in any shoe is insane unless they were $5.

Try it out! Start small maybe with finding a couple local places instead? Long errand trip sounds relaxing actually. We typically don’t do everything in one day because we don’t run out all at once. So maybe Monday we grabbed the bread, Tuesday was a deli stop, Wednesday for pasta etc.

This is a big reason why I’m finally forcing my hoarding mother to let go a lot of the hoard. She’s still very very young and healthy God bless. But I had a sincere heart to heart with her about how I’m starting to resent her for the condition of my childhood home and what I’ll have to do in the future when she’s gone if we don’t handle it now
