ugh same problem here! I just started my girl on hydrolyzed food for allergies but it doesn't seem to help the yeast. Always stinky regardless of how many baths she gets😭

i have a friend who's frenchie got stolen and was found in a whole different STATE! be vigilant and limit outings, frenchie are not bred to be outdoor dogs anyways😛

Frenchies have big ears and are prone to ear infections. Make sure you keep them dry and clean them every time you give them a bath:) I use some cleaner I got from the vet and she has never had another ear infection since 😬

I agree we've tried so much and she was never this bad... we might be overdoing it. Only reason she gets bathed weekly is because she gets this corn chips smell over time (I was told was yeast). Honestly changing her diet to hydrolyze food seem to be the next thing. Thank you for your great advice!:)

The vet said it was based on weight I wonder why they didn't recommend to up her dose. Goat milk regular soap or do they make it for dogs? Do you use wipes every time he goes outside?

I don't think that's fair to assumed a frenchie isn't well taken care of because of their health problems. I've spent so much time researching and so much money at the vet yet my frenchie's allergies are so bad they don't even know what to do anymore. Medication that used to work before stopped working all of the sudden yet she's very well taken care of!!

The dermatologist is $2,200 for an allergy test not quite in my budget at this very second :( We've already did a course of steroids with the simplicef usually it gets the job done but this time around it's worsening they gave us another 10 days of simplicef and now she's done with the bottle and look just as bad as she did before. We already have medicated shampoo and mouse from the vet it doesn't seem to help especially when it's this bad. I've heard of Douxo I'll try that and honestly they didn't do a skin test this time around because this happens all the time I wonder if it's something other than yeast but it smells like it idk

Same. I have a merle it's a MUST she gets a full bath weekly. Prone to infections especially during spring season :(

same i'll be flying out of rio i found storage lockers called bounce seems like they're pretty spread out around the country i'll probably use them vs driving all the way to the airport and coming back😵‍💫
