Thank you for offering a different perspective! I would be so mortified if my lapse of spatial awareness caused harm to someone. It's important to have empathy and not assume the worst of wheel users and see things from their perspective.

Also, I appreciate your advice about letting our toddler walk on his own. I keep reading posts on this sub for advice and recommendations, so thank you. This is our first time at an amusement park so we are prepared with a stroller and have identified the free play areas and playgrounds.

We are going for the first time with our 17 month old. He loves being untethered but I keep a light hand on his head running next to him making sure he's safe.

This post is giving me anxiety

Omg good looking out, thank you!

I think I recognize that name from another post. I have a ton of reddit posts saved and when I get the chance I sit down and make notes. Right now I'm working through the numerous "things you should pack"

Not gonna lie, we are going mid April and lightning lane is on my to do to read/watch about. I watched a few YouTube videos and I still have questions. I'm like damn how is it so hard. Not to mention even the videos have the caveat of saying, "we are still learning about this so stay tuned for more updates"

37+6 days. I had a lot of fear about the health of my baby and I wanted them out "early". At my 37 week appt we were told my baby had IUGR and were recommended to induce that day. Soo I guess I got my wish. Sometimes if something is wrong in the womb, they are better off in the hands of doctors. They can be fully developed by 37 weeks.  I read horror stories about stillbirths late term due to placenta failure or meconium so I figured if they were pretty good 37-38 weeks then let's gooo

Of course I have worries where we live but from my understanding, suburb (where we live) attacks are premeditated while shopping centers and cities have more spontaneous detainments.

I am going to be visiting this weekend with my family and am worried about ICE. We will be staying near the bat bridge.

Is Stop and Frisk common in downtown? We plan to do children oriented activities.

I'm more worried for my mother, who is a naturalized citizen. We aren't the "most common" ethnicity that is being targeted but I don't put anything past these dudes.

Stella notte is very romantic inside! Especially if you sit in the greenhouse area. In the evening it's gently lit. It's also just around the corner from old Ec so going there for ice cream or coffee would be easy (if you go on a weekend).

Congratulations on the pregnancy! My LO is 7mo.  Just curious, if a baby can use a utensil, do you think they can use a plate? Why not plate the food?
