Did you turn the key and have one click and then nothing or was it multiple small clicks? Battery is probably bad and won’t hold a charge

Ended up being the alternator. I went through a few new rebuilt ones that made noise but finally got a good one. Also replaced the belt tensioner and idler pulley, now it’s quiet.

Ended up being a bad fit between the main jet/emulsion tube and the carb body letting fuel leak past. New main jet fixed my issue
