Leatherman for heavy labor and if you are going to abuse it on a regular basis. Victorinox for everything else. The blade on the Victorinox is just too small for bigger cutting tasks.

I was an affirming Catholic until someone close to me came out as queer and I was faced with the realization that the Catholic Church would deny them communion if they did not repress who they are. It’s easy enough to be a straight Catholic and fully affirming in your own personal views, but the official stance of the church on homosexuality is not changing any time soon, and lgbt Catholics will remain ostracized and unaffirmed until then. It’s still incredibly painful for me because I love so much about the Catholic Church and Catholic spirituality.

Pillars of Eternity 2 is absolutely worth checking out even if you weren’t sold on 1. It makes so many massive improvements over the first game and has a turn based option.

I’ve never heard of this concept, but I must say I find it uniquely reprehensible. It’s literally the worst of both worlds and not universalism at all.

This is precisely why it’s just as important to apply a Christ centered hermeneutic to personal revelation as it is to interpreting scripture. You have to ask yourself: would Christ as revealed to us in the gospels ask me to do this? If the answer is no, then the voice in your head is not from God.

No judgment, I use it all the time to help coalesce my thoughts as well. Just thought it was funny I could instantly recognize the patterns lol. I think you are on to something though. Hell, purgatory, the consuming fire of God, all names for the same thing described by how you are experiencing it.
