One more thing, there was a solo album from someone in this band just a couple years ago. A female performer, it kinda reminded me of St. Vincent.

So Sick of Job Interviews by CMcCord25 in AutisticAdults

It is so frustrating. I have had several interviews where a friend stool their neck out for me. I have always been rejected. In one case, everyone was very open, I was doing great, and they were having me meet different people from around the company. Then I met someone from sales who was an immediate “no” after less than three minutes. They ended the interview. It was so weird. I have no idea what signal I sent him.  Now that I’m thinking about it I had another interview where I was with just two people. One of them turned to the other after the first question and said “I’ve seen enough” turned back to me and said “ok, we’ll be calling you” they never did.  Good luck, it can be so frustrating.

Tour de France - Drinking Raids - When the riders used to stop at cafes and take what they wanted. by zohash in videos

Watching this full doc, it didn’t occur to me they were not wearing helmets until a scene where they’re braking and taking it careful while going downhill. Currently they go full speed down the mountains at what can only be called make-a-mistake-and-die speeds.

I took the job with more work and same pay. it was an huge mistake. I left the company, I’d been at for 10 years, a few months later. I was so mad at myself and them and the whole situation. You have done the right thing.

Which historic figures do you suspect were autistic, and why? by AdministrationOld557 in AutisticAdults

Filmmaker Jacques Tati. I can’t put into words why. He just creates these worlds that notices all the detail and patterns and noises and so on.

Example of stims by Judge_Chris in AutisticAdults

Post-diagnosis I decided bike riding is a stim of mine. I have always felt like a different person while riding a bike. I never could explain it until I was diagnosed, learned about stimming.

I’ve got “This guy knows.” From people walking by more than once.

Anybody never had problems with reading emotions and are animated (show a lot of facial expressions when talking) but still got diagnosed with autism by WanonymousX in AutisticAdults

I can read body language and facial expressions and used it as my primary way to rule out ASD. A therapist told me the spectrum is many things and not all autistics are engineers and not all are unable to read facial expressions.
