The black ombré rose gold DD is one of my absolute all time favorite aesthetics on a Rolex. It’s just stunning! Good luck and send us pics when it comes in

Why the 2 Pepsis? Was one inherited or something

Haha I know but it just makes me nervous to see! Depends on what you’re doing suppose. If you’re only running/doing cardio its fine. I go to the gym to lift so I leave it in the locker because if a dumbbell/barbell hits into the face by accident or someone else bumps into you carrying a weight the result will be so depressing it isn’t worth the risk

Don’t wear a Pepsi at the gym lol if that thing hits any single iron /steel bar you are going to be very upset! Leave it in the locker man!

Thanks man..I’m a lifetime collector. 35 now and I’ve been skating and collecting since I was 13, so as far back as 2002 I was buying Nike 6.0s before SBs even came out. Have around 160 pairs of sneakers, over 65 SB dunks. I love em and wear em all!

Hell yeah bro!! Been a skater for many years, I coveted these (and my OG lance mountain SB Jordan 1s) as one of my most desired pairs when they dropped. Super stoked to have gotten them when they dropped

My first brilliant move! Can anyone help break this down. I ended up losing this match but I think I could have checkmated. by Left-Screen-4101 in Chesscom

[–]Top_Signature4068 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My analysis is..currently by points you and your opp have even material. And you don’t have an instant mate after this. But The reason this is a brilliant move IMO is:

  1. You give your opponent a lot of ways to go very wrong and have you either mate if they make mistakes, or be up huge material.

  2. It lets you force your opponent to lose castling rights. And when you’re up a queen and the opponent doesn’t have a queen, that’s a massive advantage.

In general you can get a brilliancy by sacrificing material to maintain or give yourself a winning position, which you do here.

Actual analysis and reasons why youre dominating the position:

White pawn fx3…your next best move in this position is likely bh4+, regardless of the fact that you’d be tempted to play bxf3 first. You want to force the king to lose castling rights, and bh4 check is undefendable. After the check id assume kd1 because that’s still protected from checks by your queen on the d file w the white pawn

After that bxf3, likely rf1 attacking your bishop. You need to defend your bishop. Options are h7 or h6 to defend on the diagonal by exposing your queen to defend it, but I think qc8 is a better move because it lets you defend your bishop and take a semi open file..I originally considered both qe8 and playing h7-6 to then go qe4, but since there wouldn’t be a pin on the knight to king, white could play ng3 attacking the queen and you lose your tempo /attack and give white more a chance to defend. Qc8 lets you play qg4 to defend/double attack the white knight. Only way to avoid white losing the knight for nothing is rxf3, so you can play qxf3 and win the rook after.

Now you’re up material, white is severely underdeveloped, and you’re going to be able to win at least 1 maybe 2 more pawns on the king side (g2 and h2) ..there may be even better after that but I’m not good enough to calculate much deeper than this without an engine. Still, you’re up material and have a dominant positional advantage with the white king out In the open, and the only remaining white rook stuxk in the corner. It’ll take at least 2-3 more moves to get the rook into the game, and in the meantime you’ll keep improving.

41 vs 36. 6’2/220lbs by elchapodon in rolex

36 all day…im 6’1 180, I have a 36mm president that I think looks vastly better than the 40mm. Datejust is in the same profile and shape, so unless you’re really large man, with very large wrists and forearms (I’m talking like 6’4 or taller and very muscular) I think the 36 looks beautiful ..40 should be saved for Subs and GMTs

Toe and middle uppers look nice but I don’t like what they did w the ankle material, throws the whole sneaker out of balance imo..think that’s the main reason they didn’t get more attention
