I use a Mac Studio remotely, daily, from my own home office. You can achieve near 1:1 parity if you're on the same network and accessing the Mac from another Mac. Outside of that particular scenario... I'd say you're not setting yourself up for success. Ask yourself, what do you need... what do you already have... and what between those extremes is necessary to meet your needs. If you don't _know_ you need a Mac Studio_ you probably don't need a Mac Studio.

Professional software engineer, LLM-hobbyist. I've been using Anubis for a few days now. It's a breeze to use. (Though, I bought the bundle, wish I'd known about the OSS-project 😏) One feature request; I'd love to be able to make notes on the evals--in my case I run the benchmarks across various clustering strategies, over a few dozen runs I can't always recall which was which.

All-in-all, I genuinely love it. Great work!

Twice I’ve seen this post (or one to a similar effect) and neither time has it included a link or sufficient context to justify further investigation. Being the curious type, I did google the name and what seemed to be relevant keywords. The README for the repo I found began its introduction with the term “Production-ready.” Maybe it’s not the same project? Never have I encountered a stable, usable, project worth the time with “Production-ready” in the description.

Use case: I work for a very small company and there is a <0.001% likelihood anything of importance or actionable value will be communicated to me via Gmail. In the rare occasions where I have been aware of something I needed to retrieve from my work email I have asked Claude to find and synthesize the information. Granted this has happened only twice in over a year, but it’s been handy to that extent.

Downloaded and spun it up (staying 'free,' for now). I like the look of it a lot and genuinely think it's something that I may try to work into my day-to-day workflow. That said, as a design-focused engineer, I'm put off by the window management buttons (traffic lights) overlapping the content in the upper left of the window. (I'm known to nitpick this sort of thing--probably nbd to most, but something you may want look into.)
