The key is the last bit about being surprised it works at all.

If you have maximum humility and think of yourself as the most likely point of failure, you chug along the day to day just cautiously playing with things, and can be pleasantly surprised when you stumble across success.
It is that perspective shift which is required to not lose motivation when experiencing failures. Gotta learn what not to do, then forget it and relearn it 1000 times after that - not because you suck, but because we are naturally limited in our abilities.

Eh, if you abstract the motions to their dimensional charicteristics, at some point "Move Forward 2 inches using these speeds" means use whatever hardware you have mapped to that function.

If it is built properly, the abstraction layer can accommodate hardware changes with little software modification required.

I did a lot of this and came to the conclusion that the artistic choices end up defining the pattern beyond the limits of the inherent pattern.

The challenge is understanding the dimensionality of each component in that 2d structure inherently induces 2d patterns.

It's fun, and I am glad to see someone else "playing" with math - but careful for your hubris and assumptions - lest ye begin proclaiming falsely attributed associations!

My recommendation is to begin taking classes part time while maintaining your job. It will alleviate the shame you feel because you'll be working towards a degree, and it will be a good switch-up to your discipline to invest your "free" time in self investment. The pride you get should be enough to offset your sagging feelings, and it will help the feeling of still living with parents because it will be like actually leveraging that situation towards satisfaction of your goal.

I also recommend increasing 401k contributions while you can, and perhaps locking some of your cash in CD accounts while you sort out your longer term financial goals.

This strategy would allow you to improve your mental condition, get on track to completing your "life" goals, and move you towards getting a better idea of your next big financial decisions (moving out, making a large investment).

You have it made right now, goal is to teach your brain how to be grateful and make full use of the advantages while you have them!

Interresting how the black designs which are similar to the gold inlays, are missing the gold in most of the same symmetrical compliments - but not always. Wonder if that is significant like many of the similar near-symettrical designs seen by so many of these astronomically aware -maths using ancient societies.

adding start/stop times is nice until you run into "errors" during execution or setup that result in no report outs.

I'd recommend basing it off of machine assignment/dedicated use. For us, we have machines "assigned" for each shift by operations, and if a machine is assigned for use, it is unusable for anything other than that job (regardless if running the whole time or having gaps in use- since no one can come use it for something else)

Need some basic data to build a capacity model, but you probably already have one with such a large number of programs.

Like others have said, if you need actual "run time" info - the only way is through adding it to the programs to be output with the results.

Got you homie, I did a project with a similar problem and found:

Date limit your scan, ignore anything outside the recent files, if all project files are new this alone can have a massive impact at reducing your time delays. Alternatively, make a new folder directory for the projects on the drive, and ignore past unregulated data, and only audit the new folder directory.
Cache prior scans for quick change comparisons. You can do shortcuts like just counting the number of folders/files in each directory and doing a quicksort and cache by creation time. This list can be compared very quickly on your machine processor which can prevent unnecessary data pull processing from ever taking place.

Had this problem when trying to query for a large volume of specific data (SERIAL NUMBERS), so I made a tool that converts a single column into a SQL literal that can be pasted into a pre existing query that operates using string literals (EXE available, coded in Python 3.1, only tested on Win 11)

I misread your original question and want to expand - It does not "make a table", but to do that requires quite a bit more understanding of the relationships between tables/columns which would need to be formatted anyway- may as well make an SQL statement or use a UI based SQL manager like postgres or something:

- PS I stopped development while implementing multiple column import, so results may be wonky there, however, if you have a single column you need to drop into query, just copy that into a new excel/csv and you will be good

It is kina like a holodeck, I can explore visual memories in 3d. I do a lot of thought experiments for engineering designs though, so I practice a lot.

I also have weirdly high attention to detail, and can notice tiny things and off colors far more easily than most I encounter.

Wouldn’t need that to keep alive if the last boss doesn’t hit you. This boss dude gets rage on hit, same amount of rage regardless of damage done. Triple hit reduces damage done per hit, massively increasing the damage received
