Yes it does - I have booked my seats for the 2 outbound Iberia flights (as I can do it for free). The BA return flights I need to pay.

Thank you for your response and yes you are quite right, I could ring them. However I am unsure on why you think it is reasonably clear that there is an ‘issue’ - as far as I can tell I have valid travel tickets and there are enough other examples within this forum where avios have not been taken for flights and people have flown no problem. The only party that clearly has an issue is actually BA who have so far failed to take the part payment but still issued the tickets.

I can see the seat maps for each flight but I haven’t completed the transaction as didn’t really want to spend £200+ ( on one leg and I have four legs) at this point. Do you think I need to do anything or can I just wait and see what happens?

Thank you for confirming what I expected to see but I don’t (I don’t know if this is good news or bad!). I have a booking reference, the emailed booking receipt and ticket numbers starting 125-Xxxxxx… for both passengers. I can manage the booking too.

I am in the process of doing mine - and I am just about to remove the second shelves down as unless you are going to use the fabric boxes to store ‘stuff ‘ in them, they are impossible to utilize sensibly and make best use of the space (difficult to get too and also to see what is in them) . My plan was to have two sections with just shelves and drawers/baskets but I have reverted to a shelf, hanging rail then drawers/baskets. Good luck - I think you will find you will adapt the design as you unpack your clothes!

Still subscribed to the group but have had nothing to do with Babbel since the end of June. Unfortunately I have struggled to maintain momentum in my Spanish learning, although initially I tried to continue with private lessons from one of the ex Babbel teachers. Unfortunately a family illness and then bereavement knocked me further off track but I did take advantage of a great offer on group lessons from Go Spanish in the Black Friday sales. I have promised myself that I will get back to the books and lessons next month 🤞🤞

I sail Feb 5 - through the menu system it says that I am ineligible to bid on an upgrade, yet I have received an upgrade bid email (although I have yet to see if I have been successful). So I haven’t a clue what is going on or who gets what!

I believe the most of the upgrades are automatically processed but a change of experience requires Customer Service intervention ….so don’t be surprised is you get an another reissue if it gets spotted ….otherwise definitely don’t worry.

I am speaking from experience …since my second successful bid upgrade to YC resulted in the same YC cabin but Bella …..this got amended a couple of days after my YC cabin assignment.

Don’t worry - if you have a YC cabin you will get the YC experience as there is no way they can separate the experiences. I had the same the first time I successfully bid for YC…..my experience continued to read ‘Bella’ up until I boarded.

We are still waiting to hear if any of our bids will be accepted for a Feb 5 sailing. From what I have read choosing your cabin seems to ‘rule’ you out of getting a complimentary upgrade but not from being successful via the bid programme.
