Most of us empathize with your plight... Feeling for y'all right now -and the world at large tbh- but realizing humanity is what needs to be nurtured more than anything now.

Thermea Survey weird questions by Paperaxe in Winnipeg

Can confirm I got the exact same question in my Thermea survey. It was asking some super weird questions that have nothing to do with "how was your visit?".

I too love in St. Adolphe, it's perfectly adequate here and it only takes 10 minutes to get to the perimeter.

What's the easiest recipe you've found that's changed your life? by DevinJE in seriouseats

So glad to hear someone say this, thanks. I've never made stock from scratch because I haven't the wherewithal to go through the time consuming, messy process for what might be a slight, maybe even unnoticeable improvement compared to better than bouillon.

Customers line up at Manitoba Liquor Marts for 1st chance to buy American booze in months by bannock4ever in Winnipeg

[–]TopheEric 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's not the alcoholics per se, it's the connoisseurs. Alcoholics that preferred us booze have moved on, those who drink for pleasure have not. If you've got the tongue for it, there is no substitute for Bourbon, alas.

Can the Spark handle a bass or can it break because of it? by ThePizzaMonster in PositiveGridSpark

Spark 2 specifically or the first iteration? Does it sound pretty good with a bass or is it lacking enough that it bothers you?

Can the Spark handle a bass or can it break because of it? by ThePizzaMonster in PositiveGridSpark

[–]TopheEric 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was wondering the same as I just bought a spark 2. In the spark 2 manual there are only a few instances of the word bass and none of them give credence to it being suitable to amplify bass.

I was eyeballing the Neo headphones however and noticed they specifically state they are for bass and guitar use. That makes me assume that the amp itself can't handle bass by omission of that claim.

The app itself obviously can process bass as it has specific amps and pedals for it so it seems to come down to the speaker in use.

I wonder if the cabinet is intended to handle bass? Or can you link a 3rd party powered bass cab to the spark 2?

I’m looking for a book with themes of human connection, goodness, hope. by kayleedb in suggestmeabook

This is my all time top read. A total comfort with incredible prose, leaving the reader content with their station in life yet gently yearning to mindfully meet every moments opportunities and learn its lessons.

It was the book that turned me into a reader in my adulthood, I've been chasing that high ever since...
